ClassWarUK. Plenty of protestants in Ireland want Ireland to be unified. Try to use nationalist and loyalist, otherwise you come across as a sectarian. There may be plenty of people that want a unified Ireland, but through peaceful means. The IRA are no longer in operation, were you referring to the RIRA and CIRA? Also, the ethnic cleansing already happened in Ulster, that's why there's a catholic minority.

These people have the support of about 300 people in NI. Everyone else is in full support of the peace process. O'Leary gets so much free advertising from all the media frenzy about his crackpot plans. If people stop writing about him, he'll have to pay for some real advertising. Everytime he's in the news, for good or bad reasons, sales go up. Although I don't like his tactics personally, you have to hand it to him, he's great at manipulating the media.
