A pitcher who starts a game but leaves without earning either a win or a loss (that is, before either team gains or surrenders the ultimate lead) is said to have received a no decision.

It's too bad that people still looked down upon her because of her past. Hopefully that wasn't one of the reasons she decided to retire. I enjoyed her on the variety shows that I sometimes watched.

Darvish almost had another shut out going... but gave up 2 runs in the 7th. With all the runners on base in the 7th he did well to limit the runs to 2.

Like I said in a previous post which Kyodo news seemed to have left out. Giants pitcher Utsumi pitched two scoreless innings while striking out five straight batter (the heart of the Sox line-up). Utsumi had good command and was spotting his pitches on the corners while throwing sharp breaking…

I like the lay-out but it seems similar to Mainichi Daily News' new site. I was also hoping you would add an 'edit' and or 'preview' option for commenting. But overall it's not bad and looks more up to date.
