The US was only country that could make the most powerful atomic bombs in 1940s. I think the US had the most advanced technology of all weapons and radars did work well at that time, so there is no doubt that the US knew everything about imminent attack of Japan.

Japan should not use disaster budge. Chunks look like beef steak.

The US had the most advanced technology of weapons and the best intelligence service of all. I wonder very year why the US could not stop the attack of Japanese navy although the US already knew the approach of the J navy to Hawaii. If something had been done on alert , so many young soldiers would have not died at that time.

@smithinjapan Whatever you explain or try to make good excuse about it, but it is very very obvious that SS is making extreme violence to stop them whaling in high seas, but Japans whalers are not making any violence, they are just defending the mission of their research. Show the past videos footages to your children, wonder what they about it? NOT violence?

It seems that Australia accepts violence caused by Sea Shepherd in high seas. Australia doesn't have to protect Japans whalers but it should watch SS and stop violence as much as possible for both safety in high seas as Antarctic water is very dangerous.

Americans always love wars. It makes a sense that even if FDR concealed it. He thought wars were welcome to America. but so many poor soldiers died in vain .

@samanthsa. As for child custody cases for father or mother, mothers will usually get parental authority more often than fathers, because we think mothers raise children better than fathers at at points in most of countries, however not all cases.

I think she made 2 big mistakes. She illegally escaped from the US and went back for whatever reasons. If she wants to keep her child ever, she should not have gone to the US. She finally dug her own grave about custody. As for child raising, mother seems to be better than father at all points. Father likely raises child a little aggressive and quick tempered and mother does not. After 10 years, can see the difference between raised by father and by mother.

Many years ago one stupid Japanese man tried to fly with whole bunch of small balloons from Japan to the US. He never comes back. It looks like same.

Yes, there are still some bad people who try to pretend fake to get free money from the welfare. The welfare should carefully check them sometimes but they don't because maybe many recipients, however this is still good system.

Japan is a socialism country and welfare benefits system is one of good things. People who can't work for life because of sickness / physical difficulties and people who lost jobs for a long time because of company restructuring are able to get enough money for apartment and food monthly from the welfare. As a result they can keep living.

There is surely nothing to do with Jesus connection, but something impressed. Japanese government would have to reduce the numbers of present reactors in the future as most people don't want them now.

Japan should not support for Libya. It has a too large debts. Libya would be a richer country when oil is sold because oil is money.

I' ve heard some kind of old nuclear experts are still keeping radium for many purposes in their houses in secret. Most put it in very safe containers but they might forget it for many years.

beangry,
I know that some scientists say Japan's research is good and also some say this is not good. The IWC accepts Japan hunts whales for the legal research, so the US Coast Guards never catch the Japan whalers in Northwest Pacific.

Japan is submitting a lot of research data to the IWC and other organizations related to whale science every year. People are able to see the websites. Japan can hunt as they offer the research data. That is so called loophole.

I wonder that the Sea Shepherd did not go to the Northwest Pacific. No money? or US Coast Guards are watching SS actions? It seems that the Northwest Pacific is a free World for Japan.

If countries have neither big earthquake nor big tsunami, Japan still would be able to sell its nuclear power plants and technology to foreign countries.
