smith - Regarding Dokdo/Takeshima islands, in 1960s. SKorea knew that most countries did not care about Dokdo/Takashima, so SKorea invaded Takeshima with military forces. Today China can't easily invade Senkaku islands because all major countries are watching the dispute over these islands everyday. It seems that China can't send navy fleet to Senkaku islands although they want. Because whole world is watching this.

It seems for China to be a little late to claim the islands from 1969. China should strongly have claimed the islands after the defeat of Japan in 1945, The US was controlling these islands for a while and then returned them to Japan. it seems that Japan does not want to lose these islands even if diplomatic relation between Japan and China is gone. I think some organizations would need to make proper decision about it.

The US government recognized that US returned Okinawa, Senkaku islands,,, to Japan in 1973. The US would have to defend Japan over it.

It looks like that China will not send navy fleet to Senkaku islands to regain. China may have to accept that Japan has been controlling the islands for century and will ever. What China can do now is to give Japan shit as much as possible. Japan seems to tolerate it.

I think 14 crew members are not responsible for the incident but captain is responsible. When Japanese fishermen were caught by Russia coast guard, j crew members were released first except the captain.

The captain should be detained for a while to question more as he violated the Japan's law intentionally. It looks like Chinese navy forces will not come and also not take over these Islands. China/Taiwan recognize that Japan has been controlling these islands for a long time.

Almost all people eat some kind of meats. Some people eat dolphins and some people don't. As long as we eat some meats, you can't say they can't eat dolphins if they think they are food for their daily life. I don't think they are barbaric. That is their life.

Atomic bombs were necessary for the US but other countries would not think that way. If the US thinks a-bombs right decision, it will use a-bombs again to finish other wars and then a-bombs would be dropped on their own backyard someday in the future.

I know tour companies are using foreign college students as part time job of tour guide and tour bus driver during summer. Students need money for tuitions. I think the tour company overworked the student for guide and bus driver.
