Personally, I would find such an expensive vacation very stressful. I would worry about every minute that is not spent relaxing or having fun. I would worry so much about the end of my vacation fast approaching that I would be unable to relax at all.
The US actually uses both english and metric systems. Which one is used depends upon circumstances. For example, milk is sold in pints, quarts, and gallons. Coca-Cola is sold in liters. Most handymen and mechanics have two sets of tools, one for english standards and one for metric standards.
Obama says, "we have the highest safety standards of anybody." Having said that, I wonder if Obama will now allow companies to test the meat from each animal they sell, in order to satisfy their customers, by stopping the Bush lawsuits to halt mad cow beef testing. If not, then…
I wonder if the US officials realize that business is actually tough for US refiners. Oil prices have been rising faster than gasoline prices, and gasoline demand is down, putting a squeeze on refiners profits.
Making the oil market more transparent would be a good thing. The oil markets are influenced by a great number of factors. While monitoring speculators is necessary, speculators by themselves are just a small part of a big, complex market. Supply and demand and politics probably play a bigger role…
