There we try to teach mixed raced children that they are not "half", but double as they combine both roots, only to see this thoughtless public vilification happen.

This might lead to a big shock for some "older" women, who think they are still young and get presented with anti-wrinkle cream adverts.

She is one of the few women who can wear jeans. Sadly most women in jeans look like an overstuffed potato sack but think they are sexy.

A commitment to peace. Fine. Obviously japan will never attack anyone as it's so weak. But what will they do when China arrives to take over?? Wave Kitty in their faces??

Why would China attack one of its biggest business partners?

... she didn’t know how to tell him that 不景気 (fukeiki) actually meant “recession.”

I have seen Kanji-Tattoos with worse meanings and I am puzzled why someone wouldn't check beforehand the meaning they have stitched into their skin, before they make a complete arse of themselves.

... seems this new shredder is a Level 5 shredder, what would justify its price.

shredding them into pieces smaller than a grain of rice at nine square millimeters.

There is actually a DIN norm for shredders, but this one does not fit in any category.

    Level 4 = 2 x 15 mm particles (Commercially Sensitive)

    Level 5 = 0.8 x 12 mm particles (Top Secret or Classified)

    Level 6 = 0.8 x 4 mm particles (Top Secret or Classified)

    (Level 1 - 3 are none cross-blade shredders)

Was the dropping of the atomic bombs necessary?

History gives a clear statement: the war is over and Japan lost. Hence the bombs did what they had been intended to do, kill as many people, destroy as much as possible and scare the shit out of the enemy.

Would there have been another way? Sure, but why take the small hammer if you have a big one?

Bondage, bukkake, panties, rubber clothing, child porn, rape etc; its just an other fetish. Some we ban, some we hide and some we jerk off to in private. Nothing to get all upset about.

I think though, that a public internet news page like JT needs to be more restraint in what kind of "news" are published as long as minors can access the site.

He was in the policecar, he can go wherever he wants.

Apparently not. The police is obliged to follow the road regulations in general.

Now I see why there is a basket fitted at the front of the bicycles; it is large enough to carry all the robbed money.

Adding it was a e-bike, the electro motor supports a constant escape speed of 25 km/h.

So the low murder rate in Japan is due to lack of proper means to detect murder. Interesting.

A real opportunist. A professional waits until the train stops, takes the wallet, gets out and immediately takes the money and throws the wallet under the train.

I have wondered since I came to Japan that there is no epidemic of pick pockets as people seemingly just don't care about their valuables; it looks more like an invitation to take ...

Constant loud noise seems to be the new "tradition" in the wider Tokyo area. Especially in Kawasaki one feels like an Okinawan next to an US military base.

Do you and your friends volunteer to help instead of the robots?

No, my company provides management advice only to hospitals and no body leasing. But I can tell you that my sister back in Germany does.

Still I wonder if I would want to end up in a robot driven home for elderly once the time comes. As for me, I don't.
