    Enjoy your Minamata Disease.

I think the whole mercury discussion should not be misused to demonize the meat of whale and dolphin, but should be used to address the continued pollution of the oceans by the industrialized west.

And if we talk about mercury in sea creatures, we need to include the worlds favorite fish: tuna.

We have to understand that Japanese fishermen generally see dolphins as "the rats of the see" as they feed on the same fish the fishermen are out to catch. Hence these people will never understand nor willing to discuss the arguments of the "dolphin activists".

Police believe the attack was a case of mistaken identity

I believe the attack was a case of attempted murder.

Same goes for chickens and pigs. I'll catch fish though.

What's the difference between killing a fish and --let's say-- a chicken?

The Japanese government allows a hunt of about 20,000 dolphins a year, and it argues that killing them—and also whales—is no different from raising cows or pigs for slaughter.

That argument is incorrect. The cows and pigs we eat are specifically grown to be killed and would not be alive if we would all be grass eaters. The dolphins, whale and most fish are a resource of nature that we exploit.

The star of “The Cove,” an Oscar-winning documentary about a Japanese dolphin hunt, is back in Japan to protest the slaughter but had to cancel his trip to the village at the center of the controversy because of threats from an ultranationalist group.

Come on, show a little faith in your own claims that you are ready for self sacrifice to stop the slaughter. Face the heat and see what happens.

    Where Is the Justice?

There is no Justice in Japan; the system is corrupt, rotten and deadly.

I see also potential for tracking the whereabouts of foreigners. Just add the device to the foreigners card (carrying is already mandatory).

Seriously, technology should not be used to compensate for the growing shortcomings of a society that doesn't care any more about its people.

While it is unquestionable that the Japanese brought a lot of pain to Korea, they pushed them to transform --with never seen speed-- from an agricultural nation into an industrial one. Korea would not be such a high-tech nation as it is, if not for Japan.

There is no way the "Afgans" can export the cars w/o Japanese involved.

The fast amount of ships every day makes it impossible to prevent smuggling, as the example of human trafficking shows (see below link); and it is much more complex to check the legality of machines or parts that are being exported compared to passports of people, especially as paperwork can be easily forged.

Fujimoto said she usually does all the housework herself, including washing over 100 tank tops that are part of her comedian husband Tomoharu Shoji’s on-stage act.

What's so hard in washing? I --as a man-- wash "all" my clothing inclusive "all" my daily dress shirts "all" by myself (even iron them) . Its "all" not that hard anymore since the washing machine was invented

(I assume she has one on these washing machines)

Another exaggerated over the top article.

Fully agree, though it sells. People love misery, at least seeing it in others. Makes us feel better.

Again proving my point that, beyond about 170 cm, in Japan facial beauty descreases with increases in height.
