Bertie-san, given that th US government is treating its current and ex-servicemen and women like dirt, such as by covering up illnesses relating to depleted uranium exposure plus raiding their pension funds, the cooperation of significant portions of the military could not be guaranteed in the event of a crackdown by the government. many soldiers would simply refuse to act against their own people, and many would joint them against the government.
Which brave leader would be willing to try to start that fight?

Perhaps if US governments of both colours didn't treat their own citizens like a threat to their power, people wouldn't need guns. But considering the police state crackdown on dissent, "free-speech zones" and the like indicate that the government of Obama and Bush before him are actively defying the Constitution, it's fair that the citizens have to show they're not ready to lie down. Mass murder of hundreds of millions has followed disarmament by kind, benevolent leaders such as Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot. Good reason to hold onto your guns.

And so the global conference of Hypocrites Anonymous is about to convene. Would it be too much to ask this lot of freeloaders to ride their bikes to the summit? Probably! They'll just catch their taxpayer-funded flights in to Rio - business or first class, of course. And then they have the hide to pontificate to all us plebs about the evils of our carbon footprints, whatever that means.
The only positive that can come of this globalist love-in is that while engorging themselves on lentils in their non-air conditioned dining rooms, they cannot come to any agreement. And maybe the good Lord Monckton can parachute in and ask the hard questions that a sycophantic mainstream won't go near.

Agree with JohnnyGlitterball and edwardstark. This kind of law is there to test the water by appearing to be aimed at undesirables, but can also be used to remove true posts on the unsavoury antics of powerful people and prosecute the posters.

These crooks operate above the law. In the US they own the government so are immune to prosecution. They might toss some staff to the wolves every now and then in a show of contrition, but carry on as usual fleecing the system.

Is there something in Japan's consitution that says a US court has jurisdiction in Japan? If these transactions were performed through UFJ offices in the US, that's one thing. Otherwise, the bank should just tell the US court where to go.

Nice little press release full of propaganda to condition people for something that will precipitate a large fall in population. Not sure what it willl be, but it won't be natural.
Watch Rio+20 carefully, and read up on the UN's Agenda 21 for a peek at what's in store. We in the developed world will be made to feel increasingly guilty about our ecological footprint, convenient justification for carbon taxes like Autralia's plus others such as carbon levies on airline flights. But the crooks at the top will be exempt from all this, of course.

Interesting article. I think mental health issues are far more widespread than we'd like to admit. And it seems the health profession and associated pharma industry is content to push medication onto people at the first sign of mental discomfort.
While doing some training at work, and through writing case study summaries on another job, I was shocked to see the number of mortgage insurance applicants and unemployed people on meds for depression/anxiety. Anecdotal, but still surprising. No wonder big pharma is raking it in and so many kids have Ritalin buzzing around their little brains.
