No, I will too, and so will several other anti-death penalty folks who contribute regularly to this site.
You yourself refer to him as both a "nut" and "evil". If you can't see the contradiction in your own view then whatever else you say becomes pretty much irrelevant.

I'm absolutely not a fan of US foreign policy over the years, but I believe that they entered the Second World War only after receiving a very specific invitation so to do from an Asian country not a million miles from here. Hardly planned economic policy.

They've got exactly the same picture on the Japan Times site, only you can see her feet and the "voyeuristic" atmosphere pretty much disappears.

Most firearms deaths in the States are suicides. Which is one very good reason to keep them out of the hands of the average Jo.

I'm surprised "bangs" is only number 3. Bangs are a lot more important than that to me ;)

Yes, he was a very, very smart guy who would have immediately questioned your use of the word "Mohammedism", recognising it for the divisive bit of nastiness that it is. Do you really have such a problem with the word "Islam"?

Except that in British English, "toilet" means the room as well as the thing. A "bathroom" is where, believe it or not, you have a bath. Hats off to Kana-san for saying it like it is.

This comment is devoid of meaning. The SDF is the Japanese military; how can it be the "pride" of it? And why do you extrapolate the result of this incident to denigrate tens of thousands of uniformed men and women across the country?

Don't you understand the concept of trends? It's December, that's why it's cold. When August comes it will be hot again. Very hot. Possibly hotter than any other year in recorded history. Winter cold, summer hot. Get it?

To all the haters: You know what? We all make mistakes; some of us are lucky and get away with them, others aren't so lucky. The loss of life is tragic and something this young man's going to have to live with for the rest of his life. The boy's parents too, but not with the horrible sense of guilt. Calling the driver names and libeling him ("drunk while driving") doesn't help anyone.

You reckon? Have a look at these two quotations from the Asahi Shimbun last week:
"North Korean leader Kim Jong Il and Chinese president Hu Jintao agreed in August that China will lead the development of the North Korean port of Rajin... 'North Korean leader Kim gave a positive answer to President Hu's suggestion to leave the development of Rajin Port in China's hands when Kim made his second visit to China this year,' a Chinese source said."
"China is set to lease two islands from North Korea on the Yalu River bordering the two countries to set up free trade zones and tourist facilities, Chinese sources said... China has acquired the right to use the land for 50 years after it paid Pyongyang the equivalent of several billions of yen...."
