Flasher delays train for over 7,000 commuters in Saga

At just over 30 minutes, this must be the shortest saga ever.

Judging by the title, you might think there would be a lot of talk about settlements, but NOOOOOOOO.....

grafton: Likeitis, sometimes you worry me.

Its not like I saw my grandmother's breasts a lot. I only remember seeing them when I was like six. It was my aunt who told me how they had hardly changed, and she knew because she was carrying for my grandma after chemo. Not long after chemo though they went down hill she says. By that time grandma was in her 60s.

Don't let my frankness make you think something funny is going on. The anecdote is simply a testament to the preserving power of the bra, and I don't think this garment will do match it.

In this case I would support a 20 year sentence. If the PCP did not cause the incident, then the man is stark raving mad and dangerous. Only two choices there. But if he is insane and does this kind of stuff, I would lock him up for good.

donpolski: a guy bashes his wife's head in with a spanner/wrench, strangles his 3-year-old, fakes his own suicide and you guys are discussing semantics

Well, my resurrection kit is only effective in the first three hours of death. So I can't really see what I can say or do that is of much use in this case. RIP? What a jerk? Couldn't you just assume those?

bamboohat: On a second note, I find it a tad bit unsettling that when you have a bleeding woman in your Taxi, the best choice would be to RUN to a nearby police box, RUN BACK with the cops, so they can check the still bleeding to death woman and decide whether or not she needs an ambulance. Taxi's have radios, right?

When people get stabbed in the back of my taxi, it hardly raises my pulse. Panic is out of the question. And the fact that there is no metal mesh screen between me and the action? No biggie. I just grab the mike, turn around (which means one hand is on the mike and one assisting my twisting around. No way to raise my hands in a defensive position, but oh well) and calmly relay the play by play to the taxi operator. If he is busy giving directions to another cab, no big deal. I can wait. Meanwhile, I ask the assailant if he is going to off me or himself first now that his victim appears to be dead, or if he plans to flee. They usually say "What? You still here?! Are you freaking stupid???", or something like that; I am paraphrasing.

WilliB: Remember, if any reason is good enough to have an abortion, then this one is too. I thought the point was quite obvious; I wonder what is so controversial about it.

Well, there is a bit of difference between an accidental unwanted pregnancy and an intentional pregnancy that gets unwanted for not liking the DNA.

Pro-choicers favor people having a choice. But I think most will object to going nuts with your choices, and abusing your ability to choose.

I am not sure how many pro-choicers would seek to block such abortions though. I am sure most would at least scream, stammer, and call names, but actually seek to block? Well, the smart ones wouldn't. If its just a bunch of cells in one case, it is in another too. But the designer baby thing has serious implications if controls are not put on it, like China has a girl shortage now for example.

But I would not want a bunch of cells to grow into a gay human who is hated by his own parents. Better to get rid of those cells if they don't want to even go the adoption route. But I will call them A-holes just the same. That is my take on that.

What is really scary is all the unfounded fears you post. Is it miserable or exciting to think that everyone is out to get you?

Molenir: If a spanner is a wrench, then why not have it say wrench? The one word is common usage, the other is not.

Is wrench universally used and understood though? If it is, you have a point where universal communication is the goal. But then again, I sort of don't want things dumbed down because some people don't know what a spanner is. Use of such words is an opportunity to learn a word that is common enough in the English language. Those who got brain-hurt from the word can go pop an aspirin.

Moderator: Readers, please don't get bogged down on semantics. We have readers from all English-speaking countries and we hope that readers are familiar with English terms like wrench or spanner, whether they are used in their country or not. Let's leave it at that, thanks.

Its good to see an article in favor of the badly mistreated Kusanagi. I hope he makes a full comeback that puts Communication Minister Hatoyama even more deeply in the hole he dug for himself.

I used to try to tell people differently when they insisted J-girls got no breasts. But why should I invite competition? Anyone who thinks so is welcome to the bliss of their ignorance. Now I just smile and nod and declare it such a pity that J-girls got no breasts. My friend, don't come to Japan! You won't have any good mammaries here!

But to comment on the garments: My feelings are mixed because "some" support is not full support. My family growing up was almost all women, so I know these things: My grandmother wore her bra even when sleeping. Her breasts were more beautiful than many 20 somethings, even when she was quite old. No joke. But if the breast are flopping around in these shirts that replace the bra, then the undersupport they provide is only so effective.

The good point about these to me will be that there will be no more indents and lines made by the bra onto the breasts that you see just after the bra is taken off.

Okay. So do you honestly think you can cane him into not thinking of little girls anymore? And I mean exactly that. I am not talking about caning him into not touching them, which he did not do, or not taking pictures of them from behind a pylon, I am talking about caning the thoughts out of him, or caning him into a new sexual interest. Do you really think you can do that?

skipthesong, I guess you never considered that in the situation you propose, you would need to lock her up in the house, like they used to in the old days. Your way insures you never meet the guy, because he rapes her and takes off. Or, he she sneaks around, he finally gets to do the deed, and then he takes off.

For the life of me, I do not know why people are so adverse about others having sex if they are given the power and sense to do it right. Surely there are things in the world you would do better to worry about? Welcome to the 21st century, where ape-like emotions about "my territory" are no longer required. We got condoms now, and the morning after pill, and the birth control pill. What we lack is education. The reason: ape-like emotions.

and sex education so they know what causes pregnancy

More like so that they know how to prevent pregnancy, in all its many methods. They should also be told how to masterbate properly and do it with a mind on CONTROL. Also, it would be nice if they were given a handbook with steps to go through with a partner before actual sex. Something that encourages them to take their time and get it right; a guidebook to not screwing up.

! I would never let my daughter have an abortion, but hopefully, I can help her make the right decisions to prevent her from ever being in that situation.

Skip, there is not much a girl can do but "try" to not choose a fool. And most guys ARE fools because they were not properly educated on preventing pregnancy.

Its the guy you have to educate the most and instill rigid discipline in. (Pun was not intended.)
