If ever they start flexing their muscle on this, the one that may have the advantage with "Net TVs" is Microsoft, because they already have what Google TV and Apple TV still lack - Xbox Live is already in millions of households. They already have plans for a Xbox Live TV.
Sony could do the same thing with their PS3, but so far they don't have any plan for Net TV of their own, but instead using Google TV for their Sony LCDs. Now, if Sony puts Google TV on its PS3.......... but it doesn't look like they'd do that.
But what will really drive any Net TV is content. Unless and until there's enough meaningful content, the masses would not flock to it.

Even if it's some script-kiddies in China and not the government, the C-government is still incompetent for not being able to do anything about it that it keeps happening again and again giving China a bad reputation. Don't forget that the C-government heavily filters China's internet - if they can find underground democracy activists in every Net and cranny, they surely can find much-publicized script-kiddies. Unless of course, if the C-government is not doing anything to find these "rogue computers" because it is indeed complicit with them.

Now that's a team of destiny! Left for dead at the beginning of September, 8.5 games behind the last playoff spot, only got in the playoffs on the last day when Atlanta blew a 9th-inning lead then lost in extra innings, won deciding game 1-0 away against heavily-favored Philadelphia, only got home-field advantage in the World Series thanks to archenemy Milwaukee Prince Fielder's HR off WS-opponent Texas ace pitcher Wilson, down 2-3 WS games, down to their last strike not once but twice yet tying both times then winning.............
Y'know who had the same record as St. Louis at the end of the regular season? Boston Red Sox. Worst standing among playoff teams. Yet the BoSox were out while favored to become champions. They must be thinking what could have been............
And they'll continue calling it the World Series. Ever since the days that they truly were the whole world playing major league baseball. It's tradition, and they ain't gonna change tradition just to accommodate the world.

Libyan people are not dumb. They're quite well-educated actually. They're not a bunch of tribesmen living in the desert that Gaddhafi portrayed himself. Islamists may be the largest faction, but they are still just a minority. Educated Libyans will find a balance between religion and law. Westerners should stop treating them like dumb people.
