Heheh, at least they're not kowtowing to politicians, even if said politician is a supporter of the movement. Let them lead the movement themselves. Not let the politicians lead - nothing good has come from that (politicians always have their own vested interests).

Even Turkey is breaking its relations with Syria over this, after being so close together in the last several months. Seems Turkey is breaking relations with everybody lately.

The fee is actually quite small, and the airlines don't mind too much paying the fee (which they'll pass on to the customers anyways).
The issue is the extra-territorial part: the EU is charging the whole flight route, including the part outside EU airspace. That's what the non-EU countries are mad about. The EU is usurping their airspace.

Sarah Palin would be almost unelectable anyways. 70% of Americans do not consider her Presidential material. She's better as a kingmaker than a king anyways. Though, who knows, she may still be Vice President. (Her? Taking orders from someone higher up?)
But now without Christie and Palin, the Tea Partyers are at a crossroads. They're still not satisfied with the Republican field they got, and they're still looking for that perfect candidate that will not come. And they're pretty fickle, moving first to Bachmann then Perry and now Cain. They're looking for the anti-Romney. Would they be ever satisfied enough to settle on someone and vote?

There would be no impeachment. First, there's that sweeping post-9/11 law that kinda makes it legal unless challenged in court. Second, not enough votes from Congressmen --Democrats and Republicans-- would want to be re-elected by their constituents, most of whom are in favor of this (Ron Paul can say whatever he wants - he's retiring after his term).

Apple should be fine for a few years. Projects that Steve Jobs had a hand on (and he was a very hands-on CEO) should come out OK. It's the years afterwards with all-new projects that would be the issue. Apple's strength (Steve Jobs) is also its weakness. Many people follow Apple because of him; he could create demand where there was not even a market before. Could the new Apple CEO do that? Only if people follow him as much as they followed Steve Jobs.

This is not revolutionary. This is just a stepping stone for iPhone 5, just like 3GS was for iPhone 4. So wait for iPhone 5. Regardless, so then......... what was that iPhone that got leaked, I mean, left at the bar again?
Anyways, Apple has to move along their iPhone development cycles a bit faster now that there's real competition from Android. Since Android is used by several phone manufacturers (while the iPhone only has one) and each of which has their own development cycle, the overall development of the Android is moving along at a faster congregated pace (e.g. by the time the iPhone gets an 8MP camera, there's already Android phones beyond that). That's why there are more Android users now than iPhone users. Apple has to keep pace; otherwise, they could end up like how their Mac computers ended with just 10% of the marketplace (Mac users also started out of the gate faster than PC users, but eventually, PC users caught up then left Mac users behind).
