better than not going at all. they seem genuinely concernced. they're old and frail, but still taking the time out to see 'their' people. why aren't the younger royals out there too?

i truly want to donate money to help the survivors, but i am very skeptical, especially with street donations. i do not know how much of the money collected goes to the intended people. its so hard to see who is legit and who is using the disaster to profit from. instead, i will donate clothes and blankets.

"all denka" is alot cheaper than having gas and electricity in a household. (gas is dear). all denka is also more efficient. that is why it has become so popular. appliances like the hotwater system fill up in the middle of the night when usage is at its lowest, hence cheaper. but yes, in case of a black out, houses with gas ofcours are better off (hot water, cooking, etc.) but those houses would still be eating dinner in the dark.

oh no! that's every parents' worst nightmare! condolences to mum and dad :-( sympathies to the staff members as well. they must've been so frightened. childcare workers are very hardworking and mostly underpaid. ontop of that, most staff really love the kids they care for. it's a hands-on job with lots of hazards (catching colds from kids, hurting back from carrying babies/kids, etc.). poor bub. so sad for everyone involved.

very sad and painful way to go. poor thing. both mum and big brother must be so distraught now.

i wonder how old the car was. most cars usually have indicators to show that one of the car doors is not shut properly. perhaps the child opened the door?

whatever the case, a small girl died unnecessarily. laying blame helps no-one. teaching parents of 'younguns' safe driving habits (ie.buckling kids up, using childlocks, etc.) would help prevent more accidents.

    RIP little one.

    half person? haha halflings?

terms like "hafu" and "gaijin" are so inappropriate. gee, i hope my (mixed) kids don't grow up to learn about the negativity of being themselves. it's bad enough they have an 'alien' as a mother. :-p
