Iran is just buying time in order to progress as much as possible. No amount of talk will make them stop their aim to acquire the nuclear bomb. When they do, if no attempts are made to damage/destroy the facilities soon, Iran will be talking different. Don't expect them to be any LESS aggressive in their stance. In fact it will be more, much more when they know that everyone understand they can hurl a nuclear bomb at Israel/Saudi Arabia/Kuwait/UAE/Eastern Europe/US Aircraft carrier - take your pick, and they will do it at the slightest provocation. The issue then will be a big nuclear cleanup of the scale many times Chernobyl/Fukushima combined. Can Russia/China then step forward and lead this cleanup or even contribute money & effort to it? These are the two countries seemingly suporting Iran and will be responsible for what will happen. The effect of a 3rd nuclear bomb explosion in this fragile world of ours will cripple the world economy. You need not worry about global warming, animal species extinction, flu pandemic etc as these will become side issues when Israel launch their reprisal attacks against Iran.

My opinion is going to be different. Women plays best of 3 sets and Men best of 5 sets in these major tournament. For the sake of 'equality', the prize money has been made the same. So, the shrieks and squeals, especially from Sharapova and Azarenka somehow compensate for this. Take it what you will about equality and so on, this is my opinion.

If you guys have been using an iPod nano you'll know what this is about. Basically the iPod is a small squarish music player that can display an analogy or digital watch on the screen and play music via ear piece while you're out & about. The conversion kit makes it into a watch by fitting a strap and enclose the iPod so you can wear it on your hand.

One of these days it will unfortunately happen - a stolen MANPAD used to shot down a civilian aircraft. I hope this never happens and everyone has to understand why as modern civilization is dependent on air travel. Is it possible to retrofit all MANPAD with some kind of self-destruct mechanism that will make it inoperable if not used within, say, 1year?

I think this plane will not be ready and Japan should have also ordered the latest version of the F18 Hornet as an interim measure. China is not going to wait for Japan to equip itself in 3 - 4 yrs with the F35.

People from Amnesty-whatever-grouping have forgotten the horrors of 9/11 and many other terrorist acts committed around the world. These terrorists do not go by rules or conventions in their dastardly acts against innocent people of ALL religions. Extreme terrorist actions & deeds called for extreme measures by the USA when GWB was in charge. This call by Amnesty reminds me of the home-owner who was arrested to face charges after he confronted and killed an intruder in his own home in the UK. He was subsequently released.
