The reception on my phone is garbage, despite actually having an antennae. Also, you can't watch TV and send a mail at the same time on a cell phone. Also, you could set this up and your car and it would require less fiddling that taking out your cell just to fold it up again when you exit the car. For true TV junkies, this is a boon!

Austria as far as I know produces nothing

Don't blame the limited extent of your random knowledge on Austria.

You don't like the kid, you leave the mom. Its not that hard to figure out.

What is served by hurting the kid like this? Putting an idiot behind bars is about all I can think of. I just wish it could be permanent. And if his cornea's cannot be donated to the poor little boy, they should still go to someone!

Seems like normal life in Tokyo. See it every day.

You see pre-teen underwear every day?

I wish every celeb would respond that they are indeed humping like rabbitls and even engaging in massive olive oil orgies,... just so the busy bodies of the world would shut up and stop trying invade people's privacy.

he was drunk and he called me, my friends and others a bunch of little losers an peons.

He hates you for your hairless body. You should have called him an ape, because then I bet he really would have gone ape!

while producers are attempting to sign up the other surviving Python member, Eric Idle, for the project.

I wonder what is up with that. Idle is right there in the picture. What is the problem?

What is all the fuss? If you like all these things, and tend to eat them at the same time, you are mixing them in your mouth anyway. This is just a more complete mix...with water instead of saliva...and with rice. Big deal.

because his grandmother was forced into wartime sex slavery.

    No.

because he was angry at the Japanese government’s refusal to deal with the issue of comfort women.

Yes. Those are two completely different things. The first is ancient history. The second is modern and recent. His anger is totally understandable and justifiable. His arson attempt is more dubious.

And before anyone says it, no, the comfort women were not compensated by the Japanese government. The Korean government and Japanese government worked out a secret deal in 1965 that paid x amount for each victim of forced labor and forced conscription etc. The numbers of victims they calculated did not include one single sex slave. Therefore, they were not compensated.

Why do they say the quake? Japan has had quakes for a very long time!

Its the nuke disaster mainly, and all the effects of it, such as on the food. The tsunami next, and all those pictures of destruction. Its the quake...not at all! If there was no quake but there was the tsunami and nuke disaster, these figures would be the same.

I am just surprised that the figures are down only 30 percent. If you asked me before this article, I would have guessed 70 percent! But most of the actual tourists are probably going to Okinawa or Kyoto, well away from the nuke problems and tsunami damage.

If you put a turkey in a certain wig and some lace bras and panties, could you be accused of sexualizing turkeys? I mean, it seems what is in the apparel is far more significant than the apparel itself. There is no direct connection between lace, hairdos and sex. On the other hand, if you put a Playboy Playmate in Roadrunner briefs, would she lose that much sex appeal? I don't think so. Can you spot the 500 pound gorilla in the room that certain people are trying to pretend does not exist? Its at the root of this whole whine festival and its not going to change.

Concerns about the appropriateness of pre-teen lingerie has prompted Britain’s retail consortium to publish guidelines for manufacturers targeting young girls, urging them to avoid lace and push-up bras.

I wonder what sort of influence this consortium has? These are the sort of busy body people who hate us for our freedoms. They just cannot let the market decide, but feel they must cram their opinions down our throats and have us raise our children as THEY see fit.

What is funny is that this sort of thing looks to me like a direct result of the modern drive to instill girls with confidence. And here these people want to take it away!

When I was a boy, I had my Spider Man underwear, and I felt cool in those all day. Nobody saw them, but they inspired me anyway. If you gave a girl Wonder Woman underwear, I bet these same people would raise objections right along the same lines of "sexualizing little girls" as the lace and bras. These people are confused and inconsistent. Their conflicted opinions boil down to a lot of things, and none of them are positive.

How is having a ball on the day of liberation of the death camps "dancing on graves"? The internees were liberated and it was the death knell of the Nazis! What sense does that make to have it on that day on purpose? Its not a somber memorial! Its a ball for chrissake! Neo-Nazis are not celebrating liberation of the death camps! Duh!

Some people will just say anything!

Yeah, but Fadamor, do you see a crowd? I see a crowd of police and bodyguards, not protestors or journalists in that picture.

I think this is drama queenery on the part of the bodyguards and police. It seems they want to say "Hey, look at us! We are useful!".

Even that one old guy, the only one I am sure is a protestor in front, does he look angry and dangerous to you? He looks docile as a mouse to me. Nobody is even paying direct attention to him. Look at the bodyguard with his arms outstretched and his uber serious expression. That guy fantasizes that he is damned important. Then you got the guy with his arms around the PM. He has been dying to do that since his or her first day on the job I bet.

This is a show. I can't believe anyone is taking this forced drama seriously.

Hit and run...and run? One would have thought he was a flight risk, no?

Jokes aside, this is Japan and the people are pretty docile. The authorities don't over-react and that is a good thing. So one guy temporarily got away. Show me a land where it never happens.
