How South Africa got the world cup is beyond me. A very beautiful country but freaken dangerous. Mark my worls, there will be murders, injuries and lots of theft of those who travel there to see matches.

i remember my cousin told me of his experience while on business in SA. his hired driver never stopped at red lights at night (and during the day for certain areas). if you stop, you risk getting carjacked/robbed.

So where are the Asian male models? Sheesh.

just like in any type of media, asian males are purposely under-represented.

fds - china is one of the world biggest polluters. if they aren't going to agree to hard targets, i certainly wouldn't. on a per capita basis, americans by far are the worse.

    everton2 - couldn't agree with you more.

What a couple of idiots. They should be fined for stupidity.

yeah, the nerve of them to go do a story about the plight of these people so the rest of the world can read/know about it.

I'd rather see them pull themselves into the 21st century.

and leave behind their traditional culture & way of life? agree with concrete, i'd rather wear fur than see eskimos starve.

seems like the majority of world's religious conflicts have a common denominator - islam. christianity vs islam (europe), judaism vs islam (mid east), buddhism vs islam (southeast asia), hinduism vs islam (south asia), etc.

why can't NASA re-use or copy the 1960's equipments that were supposedly used for the moon landing? It'll cost alot less.

So you're optimistic about Obama's commitment to space exploration during his presidency? Perhaps you could enlighten me as to why.

IF we went to the moon, then why can't we just re-use or copy the 1960's equipments. It'll cost alot less. weird that we can't go back to the moon with the current state of technology.

I would have set fire to the clothing all over the chairs

    teach her a lesson

i would have sprayed the content of a fire extinguisher all over you to teach you a lesson about not setting any fires inside a packed stadium.

Never ever sit in the opposite fan section at any time in any possible teamsport ... They are japanese, but when they get nuts, they get nuts ... Somebody slapping my kid by no reason will face a lot of trouble ...

i doubt it's just the japanese...that's stereotyping. have you ever been to soccer/football matches in europe (hooliganism)?

I consider Tokyo as an extremely safe city, comparing with other Asian cities in China or Thailand.

The above three mentioned places are 100% safer than Brazil, for e.g. I didn't believe my friend who said on his biz trip there, the co. provided security guards to escort him & his colleagues between hotel & the office.
