Yeah right Mr. Fu (Ling Yu). Weapons used for defense not for aggression towards other countries.

Perhaps they should string a cable at neck level with signs warning of no smartphone use while walking/riding across problem corridors. People paying attention can duck under, but those not will get clothes lined and learn their lesson.

Its about time Japan recognizes the importance of the child maintaining frequent and continuing contact with BOTH parents. The med/psych research shows it is best for the child's mental and emotional development/health. I hope domestic family court laws will follow too.

I think Saturdays would be better spent doing extracurricular activities (arts and athletics) or family time. Parents can send their kids to enrichment and/or remedial academics on Saturdays at their discretion. I think more emphasis should be placed on educating well-rounded, mentally and physically healthy individuals. It may even help decrease the high suicide rate among Japanese students. Just my $.02

BMW is the ultimate driving machine! (while it lasts). After the warranty is over, you need to trade it in or lease a new one. J-cars are more reliable, but no one can beat the fun to drive factor and utilility of a 4-5 passenger BMW sports sedan! (335 or M3)

I salute and thank these brave vets for their sacrifice and service. I had the pleasure of meeting some of these hero's (including Medal of Honor recipients) at a dedication ceremony/flight of a C-17 Globemaster jet that was named the "Spirit of Go For Broke" after their unit. We also displayed this jet at Yokota Air Base in the annual Japan-America Friendship Festival/Air Show. People waited 2-3 hours in the sweltering August heat to get a chance to sit in the cockpit. I was surprised very few Japanese know of the story of the 100th/442nd and their accomplishments.

So what about Japan-Hawaii routes? Don' forget us!! Jal better look in the rear-view mirror and watch out for Hawaiian Air. They have direct service between HNL and Haneda, Osaka, Fukuoka and Sapporo(Nov 2012). Hawaiian Air's service is better than other American carriers. Their on-time performance is #1 in the US. (I am not a Hawaiian Air employee).

"Also! What's wrong with the system?!? Japanese people do not like to adopt, but they won't allow foreigners to adopt japanese children... -_- so so sad..."

Whaaaat?! Is this true? Many adoptive parents here in the US (Hawaii) are adopting babies from China. I'm sure if babies from Japan were available, they would be readily adopted too.

Very sad indeed...I'm sure there are lot of prospective parents who can't have children who would adopt babies like these. Given the low birth rate in Japan, does government or non-profits have any adoption programs to help out mothers like this? If not, they should. RIP little one...

Japanese can sleep a little easier at night knowing the mighty Raptor is there to deter aggression from potentially hostile neighbors. The US will be forward deploying and rotating Raptor squadrons to Japan regularly to maintain a presence. It is one shit hot jet, head and shoulders above anything that adversaries can put in the sky and is America's best!

Badge213s got it right about the real world. The Viper/Fighting Falcon still is a reliable, formidable Generation 4 fighter that was designed as a relatively low cost (compared to the air superiority fighter, F-15 Eagle) multi-role fighter. Earlier Block 15-25 versions cost about 20 M. Later Block 35-50/52 considerably more. The most advanced Block 60 with upgraded avionics and weapons system with conformal fuel tanks was sold to the UAE Air Force for a lot more.

If you have any doubts about the Viper's capabilities, check out the Thunderbirds next time they come to town.
