But do the US and Europe start and finish daylight savings at the same time. Japan will obviously do their own thing if they decide to implement daylight savings so the different start and finish times will screw everyone. This doesn't even take into account daylight savings in the Southern hemisphere.
Australia is fun in Winter there are 3 time zones and in Summer 5. Until they pulled their fingers out the start and finish time for daylight saving was also different in every state.
Even with all this silliness I am still in favour of it.

The other thing it is meant to join up with the Tokyu Toyoko (I think that is the name) line that goes to Yokohama in the future. This will make the trip to Yokohama from Saitama and Ikebukuro much more convenient.

The point I was making (trying to make?) with my sarcastic comment was that most abbreviations have lots of different interpretations depending on your background / experience. When writing about these issues, particularly in a public forum, an explanation of abbreviations should be made no matter how well understood they are believed to be.

Its amazing that Japanese companies have so much to do with CSR. It is an Australian materials company originally called Commonwealth Sugar Refineries..... Maybe along with the 20 or so references to CSR, the article should clarify what CSR is an abbreviation for.
Moderator: CSR stands for corporate social responsibility.

The advertisers will always find some way around the labeling laws to make their products sound better. I recently received a packet of jelly beans from home that are labeled 97% fat free (immediately know 3% fat). Looking at the rest of the label it seems that of the rest probably 90% if sugar.
I always think the low fat yogurts are the worst for misleading advertising. Yes they have less fat but most have higher calories due to additional sugar.

Why would you feel superior going to Disneyland? You don't need to be a rocket scientist or anything to go there just pay a bit of money.
On the occasions that I go I enjoy myself but feel superior?
Posted in: You feel superior if you go to Tokyo Disneyland many times, while it makes others feel they must go as well.

bobcatfish, the article clearly states the house was unoccupied. So the real questions are where were the bodies found and if they were found in the house who put them there after the fire?

The Japanese are worried (probably correctly) because KRudd has lots of links to the Chinese and speaks passable Mandarin. With this, there is a good chance that the ties with China will strengthen and possibly become better than those with Japan.
Posted in: It is very surprising to me that Japan has been left off this trip, especially when Rudd is going to China, in particular, and without there having been a very thorough and public explanation of why he is not going to Japan.

The locations of each section should be reviewed. The ones that are viewed most often and or updated the most at the top of the page. All the things like kuchikomi etc that only get updated about once a week down lower on the page.

Further to my earlier comments of the two columns not matching each other and therefore being harder to read, I suggest you look at http://www.news.com.au/.
It is a similar layout to what you are using but having the lines between sections (and these in the same levels on both columns) gives it a more ordered and readable appearance.
I must also agree with others on the size and colours of text. Using a laptop with 13.3" screen makes it hard to read.

Not impressed at all with the new design. It is hard on the eyes. Also as the 2 columns of news aren't aligned horizontally with each other it is hard to review them both.
