I find it very interesting (and bothering) that most people judge the quality of a music by how it was crafted and by who crafted it. I don't care if a music is computer generated or artificially altered. What counts is the result. If you don't like it, don't shoot at the creator. It's only a problem with YOUR taste.

Those who can't appreciate jpop are the ones who suck! ;) Even Marty Friedman (ex-guitarist of Megadeth) is a self proclaimed jpop lover. I reckon that jpop was better in the 90s with bands like Globe. But even now there are good ones like Perfume wich I like a lot (I listen to death metal too btw).

Maybe you guys got the "Sorry, we can’t do that" treatment because you don't know how to ask properly?

In Japan, I've always had everything I requested and even more.

Even in MacDonalds, I always ask for hamburgers without ketchup sauce in it and nobody ever refused.

The thing is that japanese clerks will do mostly anything for rare clients who smile and request thing with humbleness (which is not the way the average japanese customers act).

So, the locals don't have sex with underaged girls in brothels? I guess, lots of guys had sex with her but only the japanese guy will go to jail.

Looks like many people on this forum are as uneducated as the 18 y.o schoolgirl from the article.

Any educated person would know that it's totally possible for a pregnany to go totally unnoticed by the mother until delivery.

It's an admitted fact. Do your research people.

I discussed with an algerian friend today and he told me that he is 100% for the ban because, as he told me, behind every woman wearing the burqa or the veil, there is one man who forced her to do so sometime in her life.

I thought that western women traveling to muslim countries were required to abide to the muslim dressing code. Then why shouldn't the muslim women traveling to western countries abide to the western dressing code?

    Just asking.

I don't get why they didn't give him the role of a victim killed by a plastic bottle. Would have been much more credible ... and less painful to watch :)

99% of the time, the bad guys are the passengers, not the flight attendants.

    Don't believe me?

Next time you travel by plane, count the silly people who stand up and grab their luggage during parking, seconds after the crew kindly told them to remain seated.

That's right all the passengers stand up like stupids despite the fact that the doors remain closed.

This scene never ceases to be my "palm on the forehead" moment.

    Always happen.

I'm a total atheist but I'm a fair one. I've seen the speach on TV, and what most people don't now is that the preacher didn't express his own opinion. He simply read an excerpt of a letter from a jewish friend of his who made the controversial comparison. I don't get why such a fuss is made when the comparision was made by a jewish person in the first place. Search for the video of the whole speach and you'll understand better.

tkoind2, there is no link whatsoever between what someone did and his look. I don't see why I should say that someone is ugly just because he has killed someone. When I say that he looks good, I don't say that I like him as a human being. I just say that he looks good. Your bias is just plain weird in my opinion. Bad taste? I thought it was well known that everyone had his own taste. I don't see what allow you to be judgemental about my taste.

To be honest, I'm not a girl, I'm not Japanese, I'm not a airhead but, when I saw the guy on TV I was surprised by his good look compared to all the photos that were circulating before his arrest.
