From what I heard from some people, is a quite demanding job. So I am not surprised that less people want to be teachers.
Posted in: The number of people who want to be teachers is decreasing. Many use up so much of their energy dealing with unruly parents that they get sick, and quit.

They need to change the name from Japan Communist Party to Japan Socialist Party for the bourgeois leftists on the universities or to Japan Labourist Party for ties with the unions.

Is like a parachute, works fine for landing, but we dont fly with these. When economy stabilize it must to be changed back to a floating currency or it drag the economy down when the currency become to expensive compared with other currencies. Let' me make an example with a real case, in Argentine the current ''progresist'' gob forced a deal with the Oil companies and fixed the domestic price of oil at 42 green bucks, when the oil reached 150 green bucks the barrel, in Argentine it barely raised the price. But when the Oil dropped to 32 green bucks, in Argentine the oil keep raising for indirect factors.

No, I think that a marine is human trained with the pourpouse of killing another human even if he is outgunned and/or outnumbered. I am complimenting him for not fighting-back a weaker civilian even in self-defense.

Broken bones and never hit back? I think that the marine showed a commendable self-control, that I doubt that I can emulate under the same circunstances.

Before try a dictatorship, why we dont try a ''real democracy''? I am talking about a true ''two party system and a president'', not the ''constitutional monarchy with a dominant-party system''. That is what I call political progress.
Posted in: Maybe what Japan needs right now is a dictator, a dictator with good intentions. If you spend your time discussing issues, then for example the abductions issue will remain unsolved. Certain things can only be achieved by a dictator. He can act decisively within a limited period of time.

I cant imagine miself in a mixed bath, but I guess that I can try it someday with a girfriend.
Posted in: The most important rule of etiquette to follow with mixed bathing is that both men and women should look the other way. I hope bathers once again create an atmosphere in which men and women can feel comfortable in a mixed bathing environment.

Fair enough. That is your situation and your reality. Now, please let' me tell you what mean for me and most people in the lower class of the society we live on ie. blue collars in J, and most likely other countries to. It means that every week, the boss come and and say who is kubi. That factories close and unemployment rise. That is what global recession means to me. Global Depression is when the unemployment reach midle class too.

I really want to ask: Why we need so much concrete on the rivers of our country? Why we need to pay heavy tax for subsidies of the farms. Why a corruption investigation stop when some one commit suicide? Why we cant vote the PM? Why we need an Imperial family? Why kaizen is used by Toyota but not for the central and local gobs?
Posted in: Ask why: American states seek efficiency via Japanese way

Because is cheaper to buy and operate, but the most important point is that there is less problems with technology transference and licenses. Try to compete with the USA or EU in performance is pointless, most countries dont need so much power and even the people that need that, most of them dont have the money. If J can slowly learn to make one with the best cost-efficience ratio we can export it. Worst case, we stimulated domestic comsuption like the Rafale.

I rather want to see the LDP expend trillions of yens in a J fighter that can provide a good cost-quality ratio to potential buyers, than pouring trillions in concrete that no one need. So I think that J can make a good deal by adopt the Grippen and further develop the cost efficence concept without start from point zero.

No ofense to Mitsubishi, but that is just an adapted US fighter and I think that we need something that we can export without asking to the US congress if is ok sell it to x country, after all they dont wanted to sell the F-22 to J.
