@Pump42: I doubt they would violate this trust with a camera
I don't know if this particular hotel has cameras, but having video cameras in the lobby and in the hallway on each floor is very common in Kabukicho, Shibuya and places in Osaka. I went to hotels in a group before--me and a date and a friend and his date. Some hotels don't allow more than two people in a room, so we got rooms on the same floor and figured we'd just pay for two rooms but we'd share a room so we could swap girls. Both times I've tried this, the staff instantly called our room as soon as we walked in as a group, and said that we couldn't do that. Must have been watching from the video camera in the hallway.
