Good point and I didn't know that about Italy. Maybe in more calm or homogeneous countries its easier to see the media bias, but at least in America all the major news outlets are owned by other corporations. NBC is partially owned by Microsoft and General Electric. I fail to see how a company like that could be "unbiased" in all circumstances when they document the day to day activities of a war and yet make jet engines for military planes. When media outlets own or are owned by companies that offer other goods and services besides news then I think that should be a violation of "conflict of interest laws".

Some should remain neutral. However its undeniable that some will choose a side, even if its not the entire news organization itself, it may just be one guy with one talk show etc. That's fine. As long as they always tell the truth and use the facts its fine if you have a personal bias. Its NOT ok when you outright lie and change the facts simply to get your listeners to vote for a certain candidate.

I'm looking at you Fox News. grr

I said no because no company should ever be too big or too essential to fail. That being said, American Republicans pushed an over laxed market where companies were able to lie and cheat and manipulate the market, thereby presenting a false sense of security. Under this system some companies did become too big to fail, and so the government bailout is smart justified, if its accompanied by more regulation.

I know all "super"models are supposed to be tall according to the "fashion industry" but I think they could market better with some REAL women out there. Fat ones, buff ones, short ones, that's who buys cloths. Honestly <1% of Jp women have her proportions so there is no point in her showing off cloths.

Yes until passive light flexible flat light medium is available a real paper is preferable. Also even once that magic future material is invented there's still the object of cost. I subscribe to the newspaper for cents a day, but this sheet might be a heavy investment if it gets lost or stolen. If I loose the Sunday coupons I don't give a crap.

USNin has a good point about the "updating" policies of online papers. I personally don't like online papers as much because its hard to trust or verify if their sources are correct. Anyone can throw up a website, and articles could be written with horrible bias, but CNN, BBC, and New York Times online content is backed up by the reputation of their TV channel or news paper. This is especially true with anything that relates to politics, and almost not true at all with subjects related to technology or video games etc.

    Its give and take.

Norton is a great actor. His small guy in a violent world role that he mastered in Fight Club translates perfectly to The Hulk. Great movie, saw it on release day in the US. Almost as good as Iron Man and Punisher but one of the best Marvel movies to date.

Parents are the only people to blame. Ratings are put on games for a good reason and that's to inform buyers of the content of that game. If parents buy violent games for their children that aren't mentally mature enough to understand the difference between fantasy and reality then how can you blame the game?

If someone does have violent tendencies, mental instability, or a clinical condition then a violent game is just one of an innumerable set of causes that could push this person over the edge. These people need our help in their rehabilitation and don't need us wasting time concentrating on game developers.

The only people that bash violent video games are those that don't play them. Everyone that has played Grand Theft Auto, Call of Duty, or Mortal Combat etc. knows that these games only serve as a safe outlet for tension, and not a catalyst for creating future violence.

If creating a violent video games is a crime then it is assuredly a victimless crime. If you still believe that victimless crimes should be punished then why don't you get off your infantile moral high-chair and get down on the floor and play some games with the rest of us. Trust me, its fun!
