Japan as a nation claims they've already apologized for the very things they deny and then openly says it was great idea to do it... although it never happened and they've already apologized for it of course. Is it any wonder that this historical issue hasn't been resolved with Japan and her neighbors? Even Hilary Clinton and the US has started to step into this discussion.

There is nothing casual about any coincidental flouting of the history of Unit 731. All civilized human beings should be united in denouncing such human rights atrocities in history or in contemporary times.

Best phone on the market right now is probably HTC One then S4 with Xperia a distant third. Wait until Google comes out with their first self-produced phone with Motorola. Apple with also announce 5S later this year although with Androids putting out brand new updated phones an upgraded iPhone 5 seems likely to underwhelm.

That's nice of Abe to admit that he'll honor apologies for something he publicly denies at the same time. Duplicitous much?

JT never misses a chance to lampoon these guys at every opportunity. How about a shot of the loonies at Yasukuni or the crazies yelling for Koreans to be murdered on loudhorns?

It must be some sort of special Japanese magic trick to claim you've apologized many times for things you deny you did.

And therein lies the problem. Germans are not proud of their Nazi history, Nazi soldiers. Hitlers and their ilk are not deified nor is Nazism glorified and beautified for GOOD REASON. Japan needs to learn.

You know something stinks when you think a list of people who visited Yasukuni somehow mitigates moral problems with this place.

Japan should be ashamed. There is NO OTHER developed, sane, half-respected country that shamelessly glorifies and enshrines atrocities. Germans don't worship Nazis, the US does not glorify their own atrocities like genocide of Native Americans or the institutional slavery. Japan needs to EVOLVE and acknowledge their societal demons instead of harping on some lunatic propaganda from dead imperial ambitions from a century ago.

This isn't about religion. The type of Shintoism that Yasukuni glorified saw the Japanese people as a superior divine race and the Japanese emperor as a God. This provided the moral justification for carrying war atrocities galore. No not everything that you can chalk up as being traditional or religious is good. You have to be morally challenged to NOT use your common sense to make subjective determinations about things like a SHRINE to worship and glorify war crimes.

There is no other developed country that flaunts and glorified war atrocities and war criminals while putting neo-fascist displays on full view in a major public installation. Go find me a Hitler or Nazi monument of memorial chapel or a pro-KKK, pro-slavery monument.

Koreans and Chinese, Koreans and Chinese. Oh please. The ENTIRE civilized world cares, at least normatively if not nominally, about atrocities and Japan is singular in its open flaunting of denying, whitewashing and glorification of war crimes and war criminals.
