People post the most ridiculous statements just to bash liberals/conservatives. As JoeBigs stated, the junta is the farthest thing from liberalism one can imagine. They turned the entire country into a jail.
Somethings need to be addressed. One, no matter how stupid Yettaw's actions were, he cannot be blamed for Suu Kyi's extended sentence. For the past 5 years in memory, her sentence has always been "one year" and extended for some various reason or lack of reason. The junta's own law states that one cannot be held under house arrest for more than 5 years. However, last year it became 6 years. The American's action have no relation to Suu Kyi's position. The guy is being used as a pawn by the government.
It's also ridiculous that Yettaw goes home while Suu Kyi's sentence was extended. I'm a huge supporter of Suu Kyi, so I don't mean any disrespect by this. Suu Kyi is free to leave Burma anytime. She is free to go abroad and visit her sons which she hasn't seen for 20 years (her British husband passed away while she was under her first house arrest). The junta would love for her to go abroad. However, she refuses to abandon the millions of people who look for her for hope and a better future.

Personally. I like Obama and support him on this issue. However, your statement is ridiculous. There are many good people who are against his plan for various reasons.

I agree, but you have to remember that there are various waring ethnic groups in and around the outskirts of the country. Except the Karen, many have made peace deals with the junta.

smart guy. everyone should take note in case this happens, but if you have time, best to get to the side, under the platform.
there was an incident in NY a few years back were a guy had a seizure on the platform, fell onto the tracks, and a bystander jumped down and held them both down between the rails as the train passed safely overhead

If you can read Japanese and have a background in Hebrew, this work is plenty of evidence. However, most people don't study ancient Japanese and ancient Hebrew, so the connection is invisible to the common person.

Actually, there is a very strong argument with a lot of physical evidence to support the claim that one of the lost tribes of Israel came to Japan. There are hundreds of old Japanese words that share the same pronunciation and meaning as old Hebrew words and many KATAKANA have the same pronunciation and symbol of ancient Hebrew characters (not the current form). Shinto and Jewish customs are almost a mirror image of each other: http://www5.ocn.ne.jp/~magi9/isracame.htm There are several books on this.
Japan is rife with literature distorting the image of Jews. The common non-Israeli Jew has no connection to Israel's policies and wars, so don't make the argument justifying these books because other people who happen to be Jewish and run a country which they define by their Jewishness choose to engage in massacres.

This is actually really cool. instead of letting a tension spiral out of control into "us and them." This "beer" represents bringing together both sides of this conflict on a nationwide scale and finding common ground. Best move yet.

I'm sorry, but wearing an opened-collar short-sleeved buttoned-up makes me feel MUCH MUCH cooler than a long-sleeved shirt with a tie and a jacket.

I don't think so at all. The child is learning valuable motor skills for urban living while not being able to run away, injure himself, cause a traffic accident or get kidnapped.
