Telepromter, Adaydream, etc, first I ask you to realize that you guys just jump into these threads to bash the otherside. You're essentially the same in that respect. You think your side is perfect and blame all the problems on the policies and choices by the otherside, all the while when real people are being murdered.
You must unite.
First, you must let go of this self righteousness that engrosses your stance. See the other side as humans like you. Acknowledged that we are all flawed.
Then work together to find the roots of these problems. There are so many more factors at play that you cannot possibly give all blame to one side.
Just to list some with my limited knowledge:
ethnic differences, Shiite, Sunni, Kurd; Sunni minority controlling majority with iron fist; US propping up Sunni minority to counter balance Iranian Shiite majority; 1991 gulf war; oil, Bush family; Clinton's continued bombing of Iraq, Cheney, Haliburton; Bush's grudge, false intelligence, 2003~ REAL WAR, real responsibility, now passed to Democrats
See, both sides are at fault here and both have responsibilities. Sure, the Republicans started this, but the Democrats inhereted it twice, now. I remember Clinton's bombings and sanctions that hurt the people of Iraq.
Let's factor EVERYTHING into the equation before we go off blasting people on the otherside just because they are on the other side. It's so childish and absurd. Not to mention completely disrespectful to the people who are living and dying in this war.

Being that the assailant was disguised and on a bicycle, I don't think it would be too far off to suspect that this assault could have been committed by a schoolmate with an obsession with her.

Whites are 9% of the population. Blacks are only 79% of the population. The article does not mention race, so I would assume to add the 9% with the 79% and another 12% and then multiply by 0.25 to get the number of offenders.

Well, I don't see why any natives would subject themselves to the invective posted in the comments or a half translated article when they can read in full in their own language, but as a fellow foreigner, I'll take a stab at this question.
The reason is that it seems like that is that you read this site and this site collects these news articles. These things do happen everywhere, just check the local news of other population centers.

I think Dr. Kevorkian is a hero.
Seesaw, there is a word for it called, "euthanasia."
We shouldn't force people who are suffering with each breath, each beat of the heart, things we take for granted, to continued a prolonged existence of pain. That is inhumane, I think.

Smith, I'm no fan of Teleprompter but I've got to say that you seem to spend an unhealthy amount of time here picking fights with people and putting words in their mouths.

No, because I did before and encountered the ghost. He was physical, not translucent, touched me, I could feel him and he vanished when I tried to get him off of me.
Until that moment I did not believe in ghosts, nor would I believe this story.

I just want to chime in here for Ichya. Having also grown up in a small town in FL, I also do not recognize this man's name. However, I've seen his face in an interview somewhere, but could not remember where or for what. I don't listen to music published by VA and I am very familiar with Jack Kirby.

I eat raw garlic. Garlic has a compound called allinin that turns to allicin after 10 seconds exposure to the microbes in the air. Allicin has a short life and must be consumed immediately. It's natures best defense against foreign objects entering your body.
Just mince a clove of garlic and eat it over a salad.

This one will drive many (foreign) companies crazy. I hope it passes.
I don't mind carrying my card on me. I just put it with my driver license in my wallet. Everyone carries a license, credit card, or some kind of ID, so carrying a foreign registration card isn't so bad, with one exception. I don't carry it while running. I would rather get asked to show my card by police than to have the thing fall out of my pocket while running in the pitch dark night.

Smith, I read this that the Taliban were already in the school (hence "ambush") so the students had to say Taliban. The boy who answered "I don't know" was stuck between honesty and an instinct for survival.

I also care very much. Suu Kyi is the finest example of a human being on the Earth. She is a personal hero to me. There is no one whom I respect more than her.
Her illegal detention must not be kept of the world's daily consciences.

Condolences to the victim and family.
I can't help but notice that it's almost always men killing women, men killing their families in these recent crimes. I say this is as a man, there are some really immature people in our gender and something needs to be done about this ASAP.

It's a known tactic to the police that criminal gangs coerce witnesses to reporting that they were attacked by people who spoke strange Japanese, in order for the trail to go cold.
