Ivan,
The 1918 virus' victims were mostly healthy people. The virus killed by overworking the immune system, so those with healthy immune systems were killed.

The same reason French, Italian, German, Spanish, Brazilian, Mexican, etc, are not popular. People want to listen to music with lyrics that they can understand and identify with. That's why J-pop is #1 in Japan.

No, it certainly does not. How does one crazy group represent millions of people around the world?
Anyone who takes the Old Testament literally must become a mass killer, according to the laws in Leviticus. Yet we tolerate Jews and Christians. I was raised reformed Jew, we treat the OT as a book of metaphors, but I've known Christians who believe the OT as the true word of God, and they are good people. The Taliban in no way represent Islam. Just talk to normal Afghans and you'll be enlightened.

I read DeeDee Ramones autobiography, Poison Heart, in the latter 90s. He mentioned that he had no memory of recording the 1980 album "End of the Century" because Spector put a gun to his head and drugged him after a disagreement. I think he claims that someone else must have played the bass track.

This is true. Just by being in possession of a weapon could tempt someone to use it.
For example, when I get upset, I might kick a rock while rocking down the street. I'd imagine many people do this. Now imagine the same anger with someone with a gun. We all snap at times, it's human. This guy probably snapped at something, killed his family in a rage, came aware of what he did, ran, couldn't live with the nightmare and then erased himself.

I'm pretty sure I was given a little spank if I misbehaved when I was a toddler. I've never bullied anyone and turned out okay.
Children should never be hit with force to injure.
Pulling earlobes however was quite effective with me.

Some people kill to get the death penalty.
Some people kill to get taken care of for life.
Some people will find death worse than a life term.
Some people will prefer death over a life term.

This really bugs me, so I will post it again.
Here is the wikipedia article about the case in English: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MurderofLindsay_Hawker
Now here it is in Japanese: http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%83%AA%E3%83%B3%E3%82%BC%E3%82%A4%E3%83%BB%E3%82%A2%E3%83%B3%E3%83%BB%E3%83%9B%E3%83%BC%E3%82%AB%E3%83%BC%E3%81%95%E3%82%93%E6%AE%BA%E5%AE%B3%E4%BA%8B%E4%BB%B6
If you can read Japanese, do you notice anything missing? The article never once names the suspect. It just says "the suspect."

Does anyone here know what exactly was going on when the photo was taken?
No.
Are you "on" 100% of the time? Do you not ever relax your face, especially when waiting for something to happen or when you think no one's looking?
The comments by some people are just sad. Always finding negative things about everything. Why don't you use your time for something productive?

Too many teachers have sexual interests in children. It's sickening. You think you respect someone you work with until the make a comment on someone's skirt.

I believe in a concept of "God."
But I do not believe in an afterlife.
I think that death is something we already know, deep in our minds.
I believe that death is like before we were born. Return to non-existence.
The "energy" that powers us, the mysterious force of like, it might move on. But this human life will end.
