Though regime change is needed, there are three reasons not to force it.

One, it's a slap in the face to everything Suu Kyi has sacrificed for. She does not want any violence.

Two, joining the military is one of the only means young men have to support their families. Attacking the junta would destroy thousands of innocent families.

Three, and most important, Burma is a country of many competing ethnic factions. A swift and violent removal of the junta could lead to something worse than Iraq.

So some idiot burns your flag and that makes you want to burn the flag of another country just because a few knuckleheads did it? By that logic, you would be no different.

While desecrating the 9/11 site is A-OK, of course. We got it.

Open your eyes. Only an idiot like Sarah Palin or Glenn Beck could think that building a religious center near the WTC desecrates anything.

Apparently its ok to use American tolerance to insult America, but its not ok, for America to offend someone else because of that groups intolerance.

Or maybe its just cause their Muslim. And we can't insult Muslims. Christians, sure, no problem, but not Muslims...

Your quote is so dumb that I have to point it out.

You assume that building an Islamic Community Center is an insult to the USA. It is not. You assume it is because it is to be built in the neighborhood of the WTC. In the USA, people are free to celebrate any religion. You assume that it is an insult because the criminals of 9/11 were Muslim extremists. That is the dumb part of this type of thinking. There is no relationship between extremist and laymen in any religion. That's why they are called extremist.

This Jones is also an extremists. He does not represent Christian values anymore than Al Qaeda represents Muslim values.

I disagree. It's not the doctor's responsibility to make sure their patients each enough vegetables and soak in ginseng bath, and yet in spite of that, most doctors will tell patients to eat right, get enough rest, exercise, stop smoking, reduce drinking, etc.

They don't have the knowledge of what eating right is. How many doctors do you see with a pot belly? If you really eat right , you won't get fat because the food would be digested in correct combinations instead of sitting in your colon, putrefying. I don't blame the doctors. Modern medicine in general is ignorant to how food works. Otherwise, the population would be repulsed at the artificial foods that make up 90% of the American grocery store.

Where as western medicine treats symptoms, Chinese medicine prevents problems from developing through nutrition.

It's best to use natural medicine to stay healthy and western medicine in the case if acute emergencies that require immediate treatment.

It's frightening how the western (including Japan) medical community is ignorant of nutrition and how diseases come to occur ( lack of enzymes in diet).

You guys have really strayed off topic, which means you have no answer for anything. Anyway, it's you guys (sabiwabi included) who go into passionate defense of Ahmadinejad's anti-Jewish rants.

Hold on to your seat. I am Jewish. I support the left. I don't support communists.

    AND...

I see regimes like Ahmadinejad's as the furthest extension of the right. But I don't equate it to your right.

Look man, stop seeing the world in left VS right. You're just going to end up placing people in 2D categories and in the end you'll have a hard time communicating with people.

    manfromamerica,

The only thing that confuses me is your definition of "the left."

Being a progressive has nothing to do with anti-semetic values, or supporting Ahmandinejad or Castro.

This is why I no longer believe in Christianity anymore.

I was never a Christian, but I'm not going to associate Christianity with this Sept 11, 2010 jerk just as I won't associate Islam with the jerks from Sept 11, 2001.

Hamas and other groups are a self defensive reaction to Zionist occupation and genocide.

Killing a pregnant woman is a self defensive reaction?

Hammas began as a terrorist group. And they still are.

    Hammas needs to go.

It's "heroic" acts like these that have created such a bad situation for the Palestinians. My heart really goes out to the people of Palestine who are caught between a vengengeful Israel and prisoners of Hammas who just make life hell for these people.

Voted "no." As suggested by some posters here, instead of an age limit, offer an evaluation. It is certainly cruel, though.
