mareo2 silly boy, drafts don't win wars! A government has to have a mandate to draft citizens into the army. The Iraq war lacks that mandate. There's no declartion of war. I realize its a tiny matter but the rule of law supposedly applies in America. And the basic law of the land remains the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Pathetic, the neo cons have really lost their way. The US faces an economic disaster as big as the Japanese suffered and this fool talks about illegal foreign wars - like its a primary issue.

As an Israeli, i personally favor the 2 state solution. Israel unilaterally withdrew from Gaza as proof of our National intent. That decision required uprooting established Jewish cities! It destoyed the lives of thousands of my people, that the Arabs know we, the Jewish People seek a two state solution.
The Arabs for their part, recieved Gaza for "free" and still fell into a civil war among themselves! Hamas has fired over 2000 rockets at civilian populations. The Arab nomads that have destroyed thousands of villiages in Darfur, these same nomads in time past conquored the Middle East. We Jews must live along side these crude barbarians who praise Hitler for initiating the murder of 1/3 of my people in less than 4 years. In Darfur approximately 1000000 people Arab nomads have murdered. Yet daily self righteous ignorant fools from across the planet decry Israeli oppression against Arabs, without even considering who's calling the kettle black!

I'm Jewish and am an athiest praise G-d! Avodah zarah, mistranslated by goyim as idolatry, links the exile of Adam from the 'promised land/the garden of Eden', with murder. The gods of avodah zarah have hands feet ears eyes theology dogmatism, their 'believers' have passions and struggle to believe in the god(s!). Yet vanity arrogance and bloodshed fill all the nations of the world. The curse upon the planet is religion. We Torah Jews do not 'believe' in god(s) we have a brit with the Creator. Non children of the brit, goyim, these folk have to 'believe' in vain religions and there silly superstitions concerning the gods. These religions and their believers throughout history have filled and cursed the world with bloodshed.

I hate to say this but the junta had better let the US and others help. With western China having just had a massive earthquake with thousands dead all ready, they may find that China will be occupied with thier own relief efforts.

I hope that they wise up in time to let help in.

Its obvious from the comments that you people read corporate press propaganda and righteously react with moral indignation!

Nixon and Kissenger, remember those war criminals? The illegally bombed Cambodia unto the stone age. America was not at war with Cambodia when American bombers dropped bombs upon that country that surpassed all the bombs dropped upon Germany and Japan in the 2nd world war. Pol Pot did not just appear out of the blue. AMERICA GO HOME, YANKEE CARPET BAGGERS LEAVE!

The Daju peoples live in Western Sudan. Sudan and Chad share a long border. The desertification of Africa has created tremendous environmental survival pressures upon the nomadic Arab populations of Chad and the sedentary farming Africans of Fur. War has destroyed 100s perhaps 1000s of Fur tribes farming communities. The lastest conflict began in 2003 involving local Arab militias called "janjaweed", attacking the African Fur tribes, village by village in a campaign of terror and murder that compares to the Turkish slaughter of Armaneans early in the 2oth century.

It amazed me how the corporate press rushes to publish the Israeli horrors against the Palestians when 1 or 2 people get killed yet almost totally ignores the systematic murder of close to 1,000,000 people.

SezWho2 ... What matters is that we elect a president with good judgment. It doesn't matter what party he is from. What matters is whether he is able to be a president for all the people and not a president for the Democrats or Republicans. But maybe you missed that implication because you thought my tactics implied something else.

Political parties represent voting blocks. Democrats since the turn of the 20th century have represented the liberal/socialist voting block. Republicans at least until the murder of Kennedy by Johnson/Hoover have represented the conservative/unregulated business voting block. Following the government sanctioned murder of Kennedy, even though Reagan spoke the old Party rhetoric, the Republican Party changed the course of its Conservatism to Big Government back by monopoly corporations who slowly transform American workers into fuedal serfs. 5 Major corporations control the "free press" in the United States!

SuperLib at 01:26 PM JST - 9th May, But whitehawk the US is a nation ultimately governed by laws.

WhiteHawk at 06:14 AM JST - 9th May, there are plenty of America-hating communists and anarchists in Obama's circle of friends and advisors

SuperLib, where's the Bill of Rights? The Constitution has no mandate permitting the 3 branch of American government to make law without the preconditions of the Bill of Rights! WhiteHawk, what do you want from the poor man? The democratic party has progressively embraced socialism as its Party platform since Wilson made a Central Bank and joined the US to a european alliance, and FDR made the Federal government the largest employer in the country. You people need to stop your knee jerk reactions and do your homework.

correction: it took 60 years of American imperialism etc

Betzee nice read. Economically it took 60 of American imperialism to get itself in the economic mess that its in today. If a economic strategy can be developed, and that's a very very big if, it shall take at least 15 years or more to reestablish the American dollar. Reestablishing the free banking traditions that existed prior unto the American Civil War, that's a good start. Pulling out of any european alliance, Nato for example, with the objective of reasserting the political direction of the Declartion of Independence from europe; rejecting the Wilsonian notions of League of Nation/United Nations to accomplish world peace. America's hurting it really needs to turn its attentions upon herself and just close all the foreign military bases abroad. The cold war ended yet the American governments of the past failed to bring the boys home!

Obviously the socialist democratic party shall never embrace such a political platform. Niether shall the neo conservative republican that have enshrined socialism as American Conservatism! Voting for McCaine, this man has no economic vision what so ever, he shall follow the political currents he lack the ability to innovate a new political course. Herbert Hoover also could not innovate a new political direction, FDR, established the Democratic socialist party in America. The Democrats represent the liberal traditions and still do to this day. The Republicans have lost their way, they have no political compass directing a Conservative vision. Its only fitting that the Democrats who started Big Government and deficit spending should be in office when the economic bottom falls and the American economy crashes - BOOM! Putting the so called Conservative Party into political exile offers the best hope of lynching, so to speak, the NeoCons and reestablishing a real Conservative Party and political vision.

SezWho2 You may pooh-pooh world government if you wish, but just as city states gave way to nation states, there must be some form of world government if the world is to be successful. The UN in its current form is not the ideal for it, but it is a step along the way.

Who says bigger government results in better government? The best government requires "accountability". Stalin had a huge government that had one accountability other than to Stalin, that butcher murdered 20,000,000 Russians between the 2 world wars! That socialist made alliance with the other butcher socialist that resulted in 80,000,000 people between 1941 to 1945 to be shot! At the time, to put this in perspective the entire population of the United States, approximately 150,000,000 people lived in America!

Brussels seats the EU bureaucrats. Have you looked into how poorly managed the EU bureaucracy operates and functions. This notion of a world government, where strangers with strange cultures and ways, that such people could better represent the best interests of a particular people makes absolutely no sense and you have no proof otherwise. Furthermore, to imagine that world government "employees" want pursue bribes, corruption and power, this simply represents a fairy land reality. The grass on the other side of the hill, simply because you can't see it, this does not "prove" that it's greener! If the nation states have yet to perfect government on a nation to nation basis, why do you suppose that suddenly governments and powerful politician shall change their way if they control a world society.

SushiSake3 McCaine represents only a specific to the general. The entire Republican Party has lost its Conservative bearings! The Democrats for the last 100 years have increasing favored socialism and big government. Now the Conservatives think that big government qualifies as an American "tradition"! Its time to throw the carpet-baggers out. The Republican Party needs to go the way of the old Whig party they replaced! If the Republicans can elect a President then the Neo Conservatives shall continue orbiting Conservatism around a socialist planet.

RomeoRamenII at 04:58 PM JST - 11th May

"considering RomeoRamenII was backing another candidate only a few short months ago."

True dat, Sake 2/3. The guy I was supporting dropped out of the race. Of course, at the old site you were hyping hillary until the CBC and Lord Soros told you to think otherwise.

I readily admit that Mr. McCain is too liberal for my tastes. But given what the democrats are offering up - an empty suit who receives financial support from unrepentent terrorists and freely admits he'll kow-tow to Mullahs or a Clinton Renuion Tour -- I'll cast my ballot for Mr. McCain.

America is confronting an economic crisis as larger possibly larger than the Great Depression! The direction that made America both free and great, American Presidents for the last 100 years have abandoned. McCaine promises to maintain the current status quo. People of America if you elect this man Potus your in for a very bitter disappointment. If you know this now why for goodness sakes cry later?! The conservative party ain't conservative any more! By throwing the Republicans into the political wilderness, the neoCons who follow the socialism of FDR and the democrats can be "purged" from the Party. (To use the language of Stalin!). Free enterprise, free banking as opposed to Centralized economic planning coming from Washington, free press as opposed to a limited Corporate press, terminating the Federal Reserve/Central Bank of the US, returning to the political direction of following the Declaration of Independance from europe ... breaking the NATO alliance getting out of the UN, these are true conservative values that the weeds of socialism in America have almost choked to death within the hearts and souls of the American people.
