Eikawa spend most of their money on advertising and rent. I was surprised to see that a school in downtown Nagoya was spending over 2 million yen a month on rent.

Can you imagine the excitement if Kansas City hosted a 3 game Bay Stars-Carp series? How many fans would buy a ticket?
I agree that it would be interesting if Tokyo had a MLB team. I think that the Giants can compete right now. If they were in the American League West, I think they finish second or third. Just my 2 yens worth.

They have done an excellent job of promoting a fight in the flyweight division. This was a good promotion. It must be difficult to get people excited over a Flyweight fight. I hope there are 5-10 rematches.

resting Ichiro for the playoffs? It is a good strategy. I hope that he does get hit number 200 though. Having a streak of 200 hit seasons is very impressive.
