If politics is a cancer, then what is the system that is in place in North Korea? AIDS?
I say good luck to the new guy in Osaka. But don't listen to the Tokyo Village Idiot (Ishihara) for advice.

Yet more taxpayers money pi$$ed up against the wall in pursuit of the 5 ring circus. Tokyo does not need it, and most people on the street will say they don't want it. Japan has bigger fish to fry just 250kms to the north of its capital and should divert its attention to helping its own citizens out and not lining the pockets of the IOC.

Because America only makes crap cars, and Japan has enough crappy cars of its own.
Posted in: Last year, Japan exported 1.5 million vehicles to the United States, while U.S. automakers exported just 8,000. Why aren't U.S. makers selling more in Japan?

Sorry, but if you're stupid enough to do this in countries where the penalties are well known to be at the end of a rope then you deserve everything you get for your own stupidity.

What sort of bar is this? A bar where you're not allowed to get drunk, or talk to other patrons and have to sit where you're told?
Not the same type I know, but always found The Hub's method of operating strange - They claim to be an "Authentic British Pub" but ask how many there are the moment you walk in the door. That doesn't happen to any Genuine British Pubs in Britain.

Very strange - and paying a surcharge to eat food that is on par with what any US based airline would serve up as its standard economy "food".

The misery starts when you foolishly select Qantas as your airline of travel. They haven't been worth flying since they were privatised in the mid '90's.

Great show in its early-mid years but haven't watched it regularly since at least 2002. Should have ended years ago. What is it about American produced shows where they keep flogging dead horses until a show is axed where as the best shows produced by the BBC are just 2 series of less than 15 episodes (eg Fawlty Towers, The Office, I'm Alan Partridge) and become instant classics.

So they'll be nimble enough to tackle someone about to jump? Or will they just shout 'dame' at everyone who attempts.
There's a laugh - most of Tokyo's suburban and almost all of Japan's Shinkansen stations have no architectural style whatsoever and are just concrete boxes. PED's wont impact on them at all since there's no style to cramp!
