When I'm in Japan being immersed in the culture I pick it up a lot easier than studying Japanese in the US where English is every where and no Japanese anywhere...this applies to the Japanese student learning English in a country where everything is in Japanese...immersed in an English speaking culture would accelerate their English skills.

She might be "mature" for her age...there a lots of female younglings in middle school and high school here where i reside who definitely look at least 18-20 yrs old...the hormones introduced in milk and chicken have a lot to do w/this older appearance...this young girl's family needs to be arrested and she put in therapy and w/a different family!

The man’s younger brother was found in a nearby car, having apparently committed suicide... Around 20 minutes later, a local resident found Toku’s younger brother unconscious in a car parked in a field around 400 meters from the house with rope tied around his neck, TBS reported. Police say he was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead... "He committed suicide in his car w/a rope around his neck"...how do you hang your self in a car or strangle your self in your car...something is missing here.

Having spent a fair amount of time in Japan...i find these "customs" to a wonderful way that a culture expresses itself...the customs/walking/teeth/and various sounds of Japan are quite easy to deal w/compared to those of my country (USA) where the attitude's are aggressive, foul, rude and angry!

I've been here on and off for about 6 years and have had zero negative interactions...yes the occasional obachan looks at me w/a who is that alien from another planet look, but generally i have never encountered any over the top bad vibes here...at the onsen i always get into interesting conversations and at my Aikido dojo all are always very friendly and helpful...Sensei who is almost 80 and very spry is always giving me info on the less available teachings of the art...of course it's not all roses but w/an understanding that we are guests here and respect the people and their culture difficulties should not a cause for problems.
