7-6 isn't so bad against the "world rankings leader" Canada. I didn't get to see the actual match but according to the highlights Canada made some amazing throws.

Nice shot of a not-so-nice situation. I guess cost of the camera with the lens runs up to the tens of thousands of dollars?

I haven't seen it but the description was enough for me. So I believe it shouldn't have been shown. A graphic like the one they used to illustrate the girl who fell from the platform would have been better if they wanted to show it.

Maybe it's a reference to the manga? Haven't read it so I can only guess.

Riding a bicycle without shoes? That would have hurt a lot if the pedals weren't the plastic type - not that the plastic type won't hurt. Maybe they were caught because of having a passenger (2 girls on one bike, one with shoes was driving) but confessed to not paying.

I'd say dress practically, and don't dress like you're out for a night downtown. Smart casual works. But then, that depends on the job.

From Wikipedia, "Allah" is the Arabic word for "God" used by Arab-speaking and most Arabic-descended members of the Abrahamic faiths - including Christianity and Judaism. From my point of view, they shouldn't be angry as it refers to the same deity - the one worshipped by Abraham.
What a mess. Maybe the Christians should just use another word.

I wonder if they are identical twins... Maybe the "younger" twin was suicidal...
I hope they get proper counselling though. But based from the things I read during the past year or so, that's highly unlikely...

As I said in a different comment, if the number of users were the other way around, Macs would be hounded by viruses too.
And I agree. By my experience Windows 2000 is the best OS I ever worked with. Too bad they discontinued support without a worthy replacement. But I'm giving Windows 7 a chance.

If the number of users were the other way around, Macs would be the target of viruses too.
I ran Microsoft Update just now, and the updates available doesn't even reach half of the number stated. I guess security flaws ≠ updates.

What's strange about things like this happening is that the owner fails to realize that it's their phone or it takes them forever to dig their phone out of wherever it was being kept at the time.

Nice biceps for a speed eating champ. I remember a similar show I happened to see over the weekend (with an Angela Aki look-alike competing). They're all slim for speed eaters. Makes you think if they eat at all outside the competition...

But it wouldn't be as cheap.
Maybe the woman suspected that the bill was fake, that's why she looked for the watermark or other signs. If someone handles money a lot, a simple touch will give you an idea if it's fake or not.

They look good in that little picture. But I have to agree somewhat with other posters that skinny isn't attractive. In my opinion its all about proportion. Huge bust and "long back" doesn't work, neither is a big bun and flat chest. Exceptionally long legs look weird too.
Back on topic, what time is this? I don't watch TV except for weather news and when the ground shakes.

An avoidable accident, unless of course the ball flew off-course. But based on the article it's a lack of common sense.
