This makes me sick...but as many people have posted, you can't get rid of or monitor all the sickos out there.
Possible solution: Toilets should be swept daily by teachers on a rotating buddy system. This may not catch all the cameras, but will certainly be a step in the right direction.

I have several friends in the forces that returned home...to find they like it better in combat situations. They cannot adjust to civilian life. They need to have buddies around to watch their back while they are watching their buddy's back.
I have had several that have requested to be redeployed to Afghanistan.

I feel sorry for all the long legged people flying... the over weight people don't have to pay for extra seating or a fuel charge, but tall people have to pay for a seat that they can be comfortable with.
I am not so tall, yet my knees seem to find the seat in front of me easily.

Dang...sobering and sad. I have kids this age, and hope we have instilled the confidence never to think about suicide as a way out.
Nororito, do you have kids? Kids subject to bullying?
If not, I do not think you can judge anyone in such a situat ion. If so, please enlighten everyone on how you coach your kids to deal with it.
The kids at my daughter's school were so vicious, the teacher went mental after relentless "bullying" type attacks on him. He was absent much of the school year, and ended up quiting.

I too once complained...but it falls on deaf ears in Japan, just like complaints about the bikers that noisily buzz by my place.
It is a part of culture that our gaijin ears have not dealt with all our lives. We do not have the ability to just tune it out.
