I would turn it in...the same as what we told our boy when he found a few 10,000 notes one day. After 3 months, the police handed him HIS money. He was so happy, he took our family out to eat and blew it all! :-)
I would, take my boy and the family out to eat, keep some, and give most away to local charity.

My marriage, while not pure bliss, is likely better than marrying someone back home. I am sure that would have ended up in divorce. I think our differences that we recognized at the onset prepared us not only for those, but for the fact that we are entering into a partnership for the LONG term, not just out of convenience. This has brought much compromise, long discussions, arguments, and apologies. It is not easy to be married these days for a long time to anyone if you are in the marriage for yourself more than for your partner.
I must admit, another huge factor that have allowed us to endure is the everlasting support of her wonderful family.

@SamaraiBlue Not any of the stations in my area in Nagoya. They have various levels of unleaded and kerosene. According to some 2009 data, about 0.2% of passenger cars in Japan are diesel.

They are setting up a 3rd party to look into this. They never said "independent" which means they can guide the conclusions. And, who knows...maybe some of those lawyers and such are the ones that collected or are promised a chunk of the $700 million.

There have been several decisive actions taken. The yen keeps getting stronger... Guess this time they will make it work! And, it might, for 1/2 day...

They may be saving in labor costs, but equipment in water can't be a good thing. I am pretty sure they would rather adjust production than to be forced to stop due to the plant being in or under water.

Korea and China have government support. Many of the major industries in Korea are subsidized or helped by the Korean government. There are huge tax breaks for R&D and building facilities. Additionally, the Korean government buys from those industries for schools, libraries, and other institutions / gov't buildings.
In Japan...the PM can't even stay in office longer than a year. Thus, nothing gets done. Industry has be faltering for almost 2 years now, before the tsunami devastation. Now the situation is grave...and the J-Gov is still doing nothing.
