I disagree. Too many fools try to climb Fuji whereas less fools try to climb the Himalayas. These many fools give the impression that the mountain is more dangerous than it actually is. My opinion.

My mistake. Everyone here seems a little 'slow'. Those of you who aren't American and have been to or live in Japan, can see just how much the Japanese try to copy America. The point of christmas, was simply another example. Not trying to say America is the only country that celebrates christmas.

Sorry American Mike! Christmas is a Christian tradition celebrating the birth of Jesus. Last time I checked, Japan was not a Christian nation. It would be the same as American people celebrating 'O bon'.
On a serious note, it makes me sad that Japan has to copy the commercial side of what was traditionally a religious holiday.
