This is nothing new, they have been complaining about this for a long time and trying to work ways to keep the tourists from interfering with the auction process, personally I don't blame for doing this, it is a workplace after all, imagine if you had groups of idiot tourists in your office taking pictures and messing with your stuff during your work day....

And this was a "Possible Leak" at that, nothing could have been said at all but the U.S. chose to admit that something could have happened.

"Do you get many job applications?

I tend to get a lot of foreign women applying for jobs. They fit in extremely well in our environment. However, we do have a fairly high turnover through their partners leaving, pregnancy, or women leaving because they don’t think they can meet a partner in Japan."

So does that mean that being-a-broad isn't really working...

Agree with northlondon, I always read the weekender for a good laugh about how far out of reality it is about life in Tokyo. The weekender is the perfect example of what happens when companies foot the bill for publishing....polished fluff and little of worth.

Furthermore they should do a better job of screening these chefs before they send them over here, I mean how can we expect a small town in a remote part of Japan to have to deal with the occupation of thier land by a foriegn restaraunt and the chefs that come with it....

Actually I would expect the head foreign chef in Japan to make a formal apology as well, and promise to work to improve the behavior of foreign chefs around the country. I am sure many Japanese people are worried about these chefs running amok causing problems and generally disturbing the Wa.

They shouldn't let these dangerous foreign chefs leave thier hotels. I don't know why there are any foreign chefs in Japan for that matter, surely the Japanese can handle cooking in their own restaraunts as it is.

What about the rest of the gaijin that get arrested in Japan for crimes there Henry, what's your solution for that, or is it easier for you just to jump on the JT U.S. Military Crime Story bandwagon and publish such dribble.

Henry, why don't you spend a weekend at any base and take part in one of the countless community involvement projects, like visiting orphanages and schools for the handicapped, volunteer English teaching out in town, as well as many other projects that have more people involved in one event than get arrested by Japanese Police in one year. Then write another article then again that wouldn't get headlines would it, or allow you to ride the high horse of This Is My Japan.
