Anywhere there's poverty in the Philippines, the sure and definite cause is the corrupt politician who is never elected but wins every election.

    To all atheists:

Christmas is no longer the Christian festivity you think it to be.

It's the most blatantly non-religious, capitalistic, money-centric holiday ever invented. Only Jews celebrate Hannukah, Only Muslims celebrate Ramadan, but the whole world knows December 25th as the day to buy and give out stuff. Does anyone know it's not actually Christ's birthday? Who cares?

So stop making a fuss about Christmas being a Christian holiday. It's now more pagan than Stonehenge.

LOWLY: Thanks... but can't find it. Photoshopped, maybe?

This is the first time I saw that Takashiro. Why are there so many unexplainable things on earth? How can that oddity be explained?

I bet that Sawajiri could have the world if she asked for it, so why this Takashiro? Was she looking for a father figure? There are probably ten thousand cooler, richer, more decent-looking middle-aged men in Japan, and she picks this grubby thing?

Sawajiri should've done that after the press conference snafu.

But then again, never too late.

LOWLY: Where oh where did you see that?

There are two circumstances that justify war: invasion/attack of a foreign power, and the preservation of national policies and principles. Whether they are valid or not is up to whoever wins.

War is great for the greedy, good for the victor, bad for the defeated, and evil for the individual.

Well, Sun Music wouldn't be what it is if not for Sakai.

Aizawa is just returning the millions, er, favor.

Backers said the growing Muslim population was straining the country “because Muslims don’t just practice religion.”

“The minaret is a sign of political power and demand, comparable with whole-body covering by the burqa, tolerance of forced marriage and genital mutilation of girls,” the sponsors said. They said Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan compared mosques to Islam’s military barracks and called “the minarets our bayonets.” Erdogan made the comment in citing an Islamic poem many years before he became prime minister. >

Reason enough, and points well taken.

Instead of perpetually crying foul, Muslims should really start asking themselves why the West is reacting this way, because the reasons are pretty obvious.

This is a very scary portent, though, and perhaps something that may trigger something big.

It's rather silly how Muslims would demand Christians to allow them to observe their religion and customs in a predominantly Christian soil, while Christians cannot request the same liberties in a Muslim country.

    Tolerance should beget tolerance.

    That's the problem, you see.

Dynasties can't take root without public consent; soon enough they grow strong enough to coerce that consent.

I'd really rather have these shoot-outs than having to send these crooks to jail.

One bullet and a coffin is cheaper than feeding them for years and sending them back out into the world only to spread more evil, because let's face it, jail is never a crime deterrent.

I think the title should relate more to Judaism than Christianity, because it looks more that way.

There must probably be several points in the book (which would probably be out of reach for some of us) that I have seen before:

-Ancient Japanese traditions similar to Jewish customs, like salt-throwing

-There is a certain type of Shinto priest who wears phylacteries and breastplates, just like Jewish priests of ancient times

It is also interesting to note that the difficulty of pinpointing the origins of the Japanese language within its Asian neighbors might be resolved by this theory if proven or at least validated... far-fetched, but somewhat plausible.

realteacher: There were ten lost tribes... Propaganda or not, it's still an unsolved mystery, and mysteries pique interests. Somehow, you'd want to know what happened.

    DenDon: LOL.
