Very good movie. I don't think you can compare Ledger's joker with Nicholson's joker because one is the joker for the Dark Knight and the other one is for Batman. Although both series are about Batman, the target audience is different.

What this story implies is that ethnic Chinese or part Chinese, even though born and grew up in Japan, answer to their Chinese masters. This line of thinking can of course be applied to anyone not of full Japanese blood. Talk about being xenophobic. Somewhat ironic that this was the exact kind of thinking that resulted in the Japanese-Americans being sent to camps during WW2.

Anyone wonder why a resort is right next to a DMZ with armed soldiers ready to shoot? I am guessing the DMZ surrounded the resort and was created to keep the tourists inside the resort so they do not venture out to see the real NK.

Excuse me for being ignorant. Of course Africa does not have an over population problem that’s why almost all of the twenty countries with the highest birth rates are in Africa.

Africa's base problem is over population (similar to a lot of developing third world regions). Until everyone is willing to admit to that and provide massive birth control, none of the problems (symptoms) could be solved.
