My friend's kids (7th and 9th grades) didn't want to see this movie even though they were Jackie Chan fans because in their words "It's stupid to call kung fu karate as if we don't know the difference."

Police Story - the scene where Jackie Chan slid down a pole several story high and broke huge numbers of lights and sugar glass panels on his way down. No stuntman or CGI was used.

Hedging is no longer allowed? Who wrote this article? He must be related to the guy who wrote the emails.
I love how politicians blow smoke and shift blames to other people when they are the ones who created the problem to start. The collapse of the mortgage back securities and derivatives markets could all be traced back to the sub-prime mortgages themselves, which were made in unsafe and unsound manners; to the point where a borrower did not have to show proof of repayment source (income) to get a mortgage. Who sets these ridiculous standards? Freddie Mac and FNMA, of course. And which group of individuals pressured Freddie and FNMA to do this? The politicians in Congress.

Let's look at this on the bright side. Assuming the scam did go down as the guy claimed, although the guy was incredibly stupid, he fell for the scam because he wanted to help his older brother and not because of his greed (like the usual lottery scam one hears all the time).

"If I am correct the same companies who borrowed money didn't have to pay interest on the money they borrowed."
And where did you get this piece of information? One of the banks I bank with had borrowed TARP money in the form of preferred stock with a rate of 5% and this rate goes up gradually and the money will have to be paid back. At the same time, the bank is being pressured to modify some of their residential mortgages to interest rates of below 5% to allow people who cannot afford a house to own a house. I don't think you need to be a rocket scientist to realize that paying 5% for the money and then lending that money out at less than 5% is a formula for failure. I am not sure if the U.S. governemnt has an overall game plan and knows what it is doing.
