PAD really stands for Party Against Democracy. The leaders of PAD want the rich and powerful of Thailand (themselves) to rule the country instead of having a democracy. They only want to replace Thaksin with themselves and have a bigger piece of the pie.

Mitsuru Miyake, leader of an association of 20 shopkeepers on the western side of Ikebukuro railway station, said he is baffled by the name ‘‘Tokyo Chinatown Ikebukuro,’’ and that some Japanese may be led to think Ikebukuro is a Chinese community.

If the pirates were smart, they would send out their own report of the attack and it would be something like this:

Wedding party on a party boat was attacked by military warship while shooting off fireworks. 47 dead including 20 women and children. Bride and groom missing feared dead.

According to TBS news channel some of the restaurants listed in the book are already closed down due bad economy. Therefore, Michelin should publish revised version to avoid inconvenience to visiting guests.

So how good are these reataurant if they don't get enough business to stay open?
