speaking of Narita, I actually don't mind the travel there.
I did a Hong Kong trip from Haneda and it was very bothersome to get on monorail with suit case and stuff. It was very crowded as it was in the evening. Then I had to get on some dodgy bus to take me to the terminal. all in all very inconvenient and tedious. My airport limousine experience to narita was much smoother and more relaxing.

Screw that! if i was a landlord, I'd definetely charge reikin. Part of the reason is that maintenance and renovation costs are stupidly high. also there are too many parties involved in the whole real estate business. There is always a maintenance company, sales company, etc. too many layers to go through and they all want money!

Posted in: In the long run, 'reikin' (gift money) will completely disappear because this is a system that doesn’t make sense. Eliminating the fee will make it easier for tenants to move around.

Absolutely no. Democracy is mob rule, not too distant from anarchy. Republican is a rule of law. Law equally applicable to government and citizens.

it's a non issue, so we don't deal with it.

no, they all suck, so why should we pay them? all of them should get wiped out and do a fresh re-start. this time without unions, government intemperance, and cartels.

You can get DACT headsets for a bit more with exceptional sound quality and range up to 100 meters. Bluetooth is not good for sound.

Then we shouldn't listen to music at cruising altitude, or have any kind of entertainment. Your logic is not too dissimilar from your reference to punching my lights out - not hugely intelligent.

On that note, why I can't use my digicam or ebook during landings? care to explain?

Entire airline needs to be re-set.
But instead of moaning about high costs of this and bad service of that, we need to look at the bigger picture and try to find a root cause.

Entire airline industry is regressing. They scrapped Concorde and I can't get pre-flight champgne. Nor can I listen to my mp3 player during take off. We had a brief bright period of in flight internet but that was scrapped too. Perhaps air travel is about the only industry that doesn't make any progress.

Personally, I can see two possible causes: plain corruption and fraud -- this is pretty obvious when you look at these alliances: it's an obvious oligopoly with price fixing and cheaper services in mind.

Second cause is the government. Numerous regulations and taxes favor larger airlines meaning there will be less competition. You can't get progressive with that kind of structure.

Government should protect people from fraud, but instead they force airlines to generate it. Shame.

In reality, walkman is a lot better product than iPod. Apple capitalized on stupidity of the masses and introduced a bandwagon called iPod.

Now, I am not saying anything about iphone and ipod touch. those are really great and yet to have a rival from sony... that being said there is experia, which i would pick over iphone any day.

but as a digital music player ipod is a very poor product. with limited functionality, average sound quality short life span. And worst of all it requires this bloatware called itunes to take control over your entire music library like some corrupt dictator.

I have an iAudio player with phenomenal sound, equalizer, several surround modes, deep bass, etc for 4 or 5 years and it's working perfectly, thanks to its lithium polymer battery. And its very to use as I can just connect it via USB and copy any songs i want using windows explorer. I think sony has that feature too.

Sony has very good sound and I think a few more options for sound delivery. They could benefit from micro SD slot and upgradable battery too. Oh and ipod touch killer with built in GPS would rock the world.

What!!! Fact check!! The governments biggest expenditures are on defense!!!

Reagan went on military spending spree, thats where the debt is from. That said, if government only needed to spend on protection and some basic infrastructure, they wouldn't need massive income tax. They could have got their revenue from trade tariffs like they did before.
The problem is that government is trying to get involved in everything else. Health-care, education, transport, wealthfare, insurance, pension, etc, none of this should be government's concern, yet those are government's biggest expenditures.

How about no income tax at all? Income tax is invasion of privacy and direct confiscation of property. What I earn is mine and government shouldn't be allowed to monitor it, let alone take it!

Even though I am a non-smoker, I cannot agree with such regulations. I can't see violation of human rights and over-regulation as a right solution to prevent smoking.

What can be done is: 1. Smokers are not be eligible for health-care insurance for any respiratory and heart diseases. 2. Anyone caught in second hand smoke can sue smoker for assault.
