No, it has been agreed for these island to become Russian under the treaty. Those islands are recognized by UN as Russian. the UN should impose sanctions against Japan for trying to claim those islands and failure to sign peace treaty with Russia despite their defeat in WW2.

Look, just because you want something doesn't mean you gonna get it. End of story.

Snowden at 01:34 PM JST - 5th June How about people who don't like flying in the presence of young children pay extra to be away from children? I have yet to see an airline ticket which reads that the holder is entitled to a "quiet" flight. If it annoys you so much fork out the extra money for business or first class? Children have every right to fly, and as long as parents make some effort to entertain/keep them quiet then that's all I can ask. Sometimes though kids are going to cry and there is not much parents can do about it.

I think somewhere in terms in conditions it says you can't annoy other passengers. Little screaming brats do just that. What would you say if I start running around cabin yelling and pissing all over the place? I think I will be subdued and there will be cops waiting for me at arrival. It doesn't matter if I am 3 or 32 I should be arrested if I disturb peace during flight.

Kids in Business class: I hear BA separates travelers with kids and without kids into 2 compartments. In 747 passengers with kids would get the upper deck.

gogogo, i had a kicking brat behind me once too. i don't think i have experienced anything as annoying as this.

dano2002, what the hell is your problem with laptops? Are you jealous because you can't afford one? It's not like they are tapping away on their laptops with SPEAKERS ON!! Stop point at other people, you are the one with a loud brat. it is you who is guilty, not the guy with laptop.

Absolutely agree! In addition, in smaller companies you would spend more time actually working, i.e doing something productive rather then going to useless meetings and playing politics.

Posted in: Though students may be feeling they are in an endless loop of frustration, I want them to know that there are many excellent smaller companies. Jobs at small and midsize companies should not be seen as less prestigious.

They should have storage area for little brats that scream their lungs out. There should be no excuse. If something you bring annoys about 200 people at the same time, that should be dealt with. I mean, some kids come up with most inhuman screams! I will never forget my overnight flight to Hawaii (you absolutely have to sleep on that flight to enjoy 1st day of your vacation) where this brat was yelling as if somebody was dissecting him. I looked around, not a single person in the cabin was asleep and everyone had that serial killer look on their face.

How about that for business plan: make a new compartment for kids, hire extra flight attendant to look after them (babysit), and increase fare for passengers with kids.

What this would solve? 1. 200 people will get some sleep during flights. 2. More employment opportunities (need for flight attendants) 3. Extra income for airlines.

How about that? 3 birds with one stone.

    1. Find country roads that don't go through populated ares. Usually mountain passes.
    2. I think its designed so that not "Everyone" will get license. this fee and process designed to decrease the number of cars on the roads. I think i benefited from it though. i wasn't the best driver when i graduated, but i was some what street ready.
    3. Agreed, but that's what you got accelerator for. punch it and drive away.
    4. I disagree. I thnk Japanese use blinkers a lot more often and correct than drivers in other countries.
    5. Forget your insurance guy and call Sony Sonpo, American Home, or Axa. They are dirt cheap and do their job.
    6. I think its a way of fair tax. Did you notice how low income tax is? It's simple, don't drive, don't pay.
    7. 100% agree, I think parking wardens must be shot, but I didn't know you get fined for after hours box parking.
    8. Same as number 6. and it is designed to unload the highways
    9. Cops should be shot with parking wardens. Next time take the paid mountain overpass, just make sure its a private road, not kokudo. I think you already know about it. I heard there are cops on Hakone turnpike now so be careful.
    10. Agreed, but you can't control it.

I think we should challenge ridiculously low speed limits in next rant :-)

Dear cell phone manufacturers, please read this very carefully: in order to sell your smart phones here, all you need to do is slap on support for mobile internet such as imode or ezweb, keitai specific email, and ic chip so people can have their suica. So far NOT A SINGLE SMART PHONE has it and that's why they don't sell. you should pay me for this, really...

Posted in: Just because it sells overseas doesn’t necessarily mean Japanese consumers will take to it. It’s unlikely that Android will become an instant hit, but the platform has a lot of potential three to five years down the road.

30061015, spot on! One thing definite though is that a lot more people will end up with improved economic knowledge. I can see this even by judging JT replies. Half a year ago it was all blame the greedy and rich, now people start talking about inflation and value of the dollar. soon we will reach gold standard and abolition of the FED. Hell, who knows maybe Ron Paul will have a chance in 2012 after all?
