    Aussiemac, Sorry.... Singapore's MRT are awesome. On Time, Air conditioned, escalators, and cheap. Japan's No Air conditioned in Japan, lack of escalators at the stations I personally feel knock Japan out of the running for convenience. There is more than simply being mostly on time. (Which odakyu line has a serious trouble doing arriving 5 to 15 minutes late every morning and evening)

    A city totally devoted to the war. Ship building, gun assembly, completely focused on killing, ended up being destroyed without any American lives being losted. So were many people around Asia were vicutms of Japan. War is war. They are not viciums. They were the cause.

    seats are 20% smaller now than in 1990. Airlines continually shrink seat size, configuration, and pack as many as possible. Even business seats have been becoming smaller and smaller. Don't always blame the fat guys and gals, blame the airlines who are trying to fit in another row to make additional profit. Current seats range from 16 inches to 19 inches. That's a huge difference.

    The media in the US say the stop in Japan is a waste of time. They say Japan has no contribution to solving the worlds economy and move way too slow for current markets. Everyone in the E20 all have agreed that Japan is so far behind the rest of the world they are not relevant in any current discussion.

    Fadamor, are you insane. Hooters Waits make a ton in tips every night. For women with looks, it is the place to be for tips. The Japan 1000 yen a hour system is insane. No service, Robotic everything, and all for a "FLAT" haha fee.

    Same as America but 3 times the cost and can they find any Asian women to fit into the hooters top? are they going to sit on your lap to take your order as well? Another strange American restaurant opening here that will fail hiring a mc. Donald's manager to make it work. how many shots is the company shooting in the heart of their idea. They should have put an English teacher in charge of it. They know more about customer service.

    Japan's answer. Raise taxes... I for one have send every yen overseas and living poor now. Every cent is moving overseas. I.E. I'm not spending a yen in Japan now. Great for the economy. Now can the average Japanese person think this way? Overseas.... what is overseas.

    Japanese should stop destroying English and simply learn how to say things the Western way. The extra vowels that katakana produce kill any understanding and make Japanese look stupid in any business setting.

    Smoking is still allowed in private hospitals. Some doctors still tell people it is healthy as it reduces stress levels. The cops in shinjuku are old people with nothing better to do that to bitch at people. It seems that Japanese after a certain age should just kill themselves. They are a burden and often noisy and not nice to be around. Japan has the butt police, the garbage police, the parking police, and late for work police, everything is controlled by police. but the police tend to not do too much. they have outsourced most of their work to others. Japanese live in their own world.
