Statistician, I was thinking the same thing. As for this guy, obviously he has seen real Japan and doesn't like it. A non-violent crime. Wonderful! As for the taxi driver, man this group of people as a whole are stupid and dirty. What a looser. Where is the taxi drivers name in this story? What taxi company? details details details.

Girl screaming from pain of child birth and no one calls the police. Let's think about that for a while. Babies just don't pop out. She must have been in their for at least a hour, but being her first wouldn't you think it would be longer? I have heard of short birthing, but silent birthing? not!

sensei258 shows exactly what the problem is. Apathy. "no matter what we do we get paid." Sad indeed! Timtak, Post Dramatic Chalk Stress Syndrome. Did the kid get into any problem for being a smart ass or was he rewarded by getting this teach in trouble.

Smile, then where does it go when you go out the door. Train people are some of the grumpiest people I have ever seen. And they control the air conditioner on the trains. It is so hot on the Odakyu line in the morning people pass out. While they sit in relative comfort.

Basically nothing in the chest area and a tiny bottom. Just glad they didn't show the man's version here. Why men feel they can run around in those tiny things is beyond me. I don't think I would even fit. Nor would I want to try.

You are joking. Japan doesn't want even the local foreigners here let alone some poor refugees. You can make 9 million yen a year and be denied a credit card, and why? foreigner. You can own your own business and be denied a credit card, even when that credit card company is trying to brand under your company name. (seen it 3 times) And Japan is not welcoming poor refugees. Perhaps Japan should start acceptance of the foreigners who are here. Then move on to others. Image is damaged anyway.

with renting an apartment so hard, why doesn't the government get involved? Bribery I am sure is high on the reasons why. And the spew about "Japanese culture" crap.

When companies employees start working normal hours, and are treated better than slaves, then maybe yes. but for many of them, this is their only contact with the outside world. I have several friends that work from 8am to 11pm 5 or 6 days a week. (basically forced by their supervisors) I believe slaves in America didn't work that long. But it's all for the company. (the line they tell me) sad indeed. So why take away their toys.... too....

FEAR. Now that is a good tactic. Japanese love change and love to be in fear.

Man B.K. in Japan is doomed. At 1,000 yen for a meal (about that with a med (American size) upgrade. They call it a large be we all know, Japanese things are always smaller. Went to Singapore and the place was just like the US. And costs were 1/2 here in Japan. I believe Singapore is even further away from America so the import thing just doesn't work. B.K. locations for the most part are terrible. So unless they have hired people with no negotiating abilities, we are simply getting screwed. I believe B.K. will die here AGAIN. Angry Burger. Joke. Just give us a cheap meal. Mac is the cheapest, followed by Wendy's then MOS. BK is in the range of T.G.I Friday's lunch special. Which would you choose T.G.I with free refills and a bigger burger, or B.K. that leaves you hungry. Angry, yes I'm Angry. Another American Company outsourcing their product to a Japanese company that hurts their world-wide image.

Junk. You just fold the things in half. Japanese have way too much money to buy junk to fold a pre-made dumpling in half.

Now if they knew what the average person thought about African American's would they feel this way? They should try to rent an apartment here. Wouldn't even get 3 sentences in, in most places.

ThonTaddeo, what are you talking about. 90% of women don't work past 40. The ones that do, are sad indeed and wouldn't help the economy at all.

TOHO doesn't even show it in their Premier Theaters, except for Roppongi. Sad when a major blockbuster doesn't get the treatment it deserves. So, I guess I will she this in Singapore where they have excellent theaters and excellent service. Nothing in Japan compairs.
