How about simple manners. Moral education in a country with no morals. Interesting. Who will teach it?

adm_kenshin most western countries have the ability to form thought. A practice that we in the west pride ourselves on. Japan on the other hand has a word for it "chigao" meaning different/wrong. Meaning most people don't think and simply follow what the teacher has to say.

Unless they are handheld by a underpaid teacher, they will never get it. Thinking really isn't a strong trait of the Japanese masses.

Kawasaki has a huge plant in Japan. Nebraska like most places favors mothers over fathers. Sad story. Wonder how the woman is staying in Japan. Hasn't she over stayed her visa yet? Time to deport her. That is what Japan would do to him.
As for who would be a better parent, not really sure, but have you seen any of the American hunter women there (women in yokosuka) lately. They are more slutty than even Roppongi girls. Most are too strange for Japanese men so they hunt out Americans for a husbands. I think this is a no win, no win situation for the child.

one of the main tourist spots in Tokyo. And they barred Tourists. And Japanese people wonder why people don't like coming here. There is simply nothing special. I mean you see 1 temple you have seen them all. Experience Japan in 1 day. That should be the new rule. And don't stay here. (we don't want you. -previous article about local inns)

thundercat you are so wrong. Police in Japan do not determine guilt. They have told me this directly when I was in an accident 3 months ago. I was parked on the side of a road and a car sideswiped me. I was 5% wrong. The insurance companies in Japan lay a percentage base to every accident. Nothing is 100% in Japan. Nothing! But by the time all the "gomen" money was paid, I really didn't care.
As for this little boy, not sure what happened. I see so many adults walking down the middle of the street letting their kids run wild. Was the child alone. Was she holding it's hand? Was she shopping and letting the kid play in the street? So many things are unanswered here.
As for the man. Nothing society can do can fix the hurt he must live with for the rest of his life.
And for those of you who want to rant. On December 4th 7 years ago my father was killed in an accident in the U.S. The fault was the person who didn't stop at the red light. (an 18 year old person) While he didn't face prosecution, he will need to live with the rest of his life that he killed someone.

Bio Fuel, like recycling all that oil from our local mc Donald's into bio diesel is even better for the environment. Electric cars on electrical prices in Japan. Stupid! That average blow can't afford to run their heaters 24 hours a day in the middle of winter, or their air conditioners mid summer. But let's hookup these power hogs to our home outlet. Dream on.

why would less people post? Google is paying. I say that being able to watch Japanese junk should be free. Google agrees. But they are tapping their huge finical stash and paying the fees. Great!

They don't have it at my local shop.
1973 it started and only took Japan 35 years to add it to the menu in 1 store.
Interesting.

Sue the hell out of them. Get on a black list, you can work there for years, do nothing and leave on time. You can enjoy your life and still get the annual bonus, annual raises, and enjoy all the perks of the company, and do basically nothing. Know several people on black lists. They are very very happy.

French wine is so bad that Japanese people take baths in it.... HAHAHA. just a few years ago they were cleaning the streets of New York with it. Is this really a good story? As for the spa. Great place. Odakyu Travel has a package tour that includes hotel (across the street) and 2 days of spa and onesen tickets. I think it was 8000 yen per person without meal and 12000 yen with meal. It was a great fast get away.
