"BIG BULLY" I hope so. The Japanese have held that post for so long we, the world, need a change.

Seeing the United Nations not not given Japan sovereignty over the islands is a big deal. Until they do, Japan is playing a dangerous game that frankly they can't win. The US is not going to defend Japan over problems created by Japanese politics. Why would we. China owns more of the US that the US does.

Wouldn't it be nice if China announced all the staff at IBM Japan were fired immediately. That would be nice hit.

If you leave the scene of an accident in Japan, no matter who was at fault, the person leaving is 100% wrong.

Just more pages of junk and cartoons of "I am a boy. She is a girl. This is a pencil."

Liked the comments above on development of "Thinking abilities..." from the professors. I wonder if he does this in his University classes? You know, get students to ask questions during the 90 minute lecture he gives, and not just stand up there and talk talk talk with no clue if people are actually understanding what he is saying.

Asking questions and actively thinking is very hard for people to do here. It shows how stupid many people really are. In addition many people lack the ability to focus more than 5 minutes i.e. the people who actually sleep during meetings, an acceptable practice in Japan.

Insider told me that this is completely non user friendly. A group of engineers took them hours and hours to set it up. Wonder if they can move it around easily and show how a user can do it?

"Thanks to the law"... it couldn't be the economy and that people just can't afford 900 yen for a glass of beer. While salaries have gone down, products have become more expensive or not reduced in years. And this business owners says "Thanks to the law?" Blame someone else.... Japanese live in their own world.

do the math.... serving a donut that no one liked 40 years ago seeing it was only around 1 year or less. Japanese love their donut's they will stand inline for hours and hours. crazy people with too much time on their hands. The mister donut's near my place is always out of donuts by 7pm and they close at 11pm. They don't make any more. How can they survive. No powdered sugar anywhere... just a waste.

Now that Chinese are getting a better life style and freedoms, they want more money. Japanese companies that can expect near slave labor hourly wages time is at an end. Continue paying the Japanese peanuts but the rest of the world is moving on. As for the comments above, Salaries have gone down in the last 10 years not up. It is the Japanese way. (they live in their own world)

blame the school...?... not the parenting. Parents in Japan have no skills on how to deal with anything. What about self confidence. Self Respect. The girl obviously needed some counseling on both of those topics. Bulling by simply sending her notes. Missing 10 days of school and not going to see a councilor for her problems. The parents failed her.

"Sarge" so if people in my country decide to "enslave" the people of your country.... it's ok. As for the rest, who really cares. Marriage is a contract. In Japan marriage is a joke. No joint bank accounts. Only a tax break, which again is all about money. Also property. What's the big deal? Who really is hurt. No one. Japanese in their history have had same sex relationships. The beloved Samurai all had their same sex partner. Most college students tinker once or twice with each others. It's not strange. Just different. Enough already. Time to think a bit outside the box. For goodness sakes most of us in Japan are already outside the box. How many of your family and friends think you are crazy for living here. Think you are different. Perhaps there should be a law about that. Time to move on, enough with discrimination in any form. We have it enough in Japan being foreigners.

Head hunters are simply one step higher than an ALT. Thinking only about easy money and providing very little in terms of service. I don't know one business leader who respects the profession.

These things were popular in America 20 years ago when companies were putting every chemical on the planet into bread. Japan's bread is fairly chemical free. No need to waste your money. Simple waste of money. And completely eco unfriendly.
