let your kid jump on the bed and things like this happen. I was jumping on the bed when I was a kid and went threw the window. 100 stitches later we all learned a lesson. Glass and legs don't go together. Sorry parents this is your responsibility. (Wonder why this hotel allowed you to open the windows. Most hotels I'v stayed have either locked them completely or restricted the width you could open them.) I guess they expect parents to put a stop to kids jumping around on the beds etc. in their rooms.

"Wendy’s have been forced " not true. Wendy's Japan wouldn't pay the franchise fees. Mc. Donalds only starting making money after they fired the Japanese president and replaced him with someone from the USA. Now the president of MAC is a puppet of the USA. And is totally Americanized! Is "Krispy Kreme a big winner?" You have got to be kidding me. They can't even serve customers quickly. 30 minutes inline for a donuts. Stupid!!!

They should hire a westerner in Japan to run things and do things exactly like the US while telling the public they are a Japanese company. HMV was a total successes at this and their top 3 execs never learned anything about Japanese culture.

It's 2010! Japan needs to adapt. Other markets are more profitable. No reason to change.

Jailbreak for 3.1.3 iphone was announced yesterday. iPad is now officially jail broken. Wonderful news. Let's buy one. Wonder how much it will be in Japan? 200% that of the US. We already have 3G iphones, will we need another plan? How much are they going to suck from us for internet?

Just saw our friend Mark M., previously (last week) of Wall Street Associates, is the new Managing Director of the company that launched this product. I wish him well. At least I know now how these press releases are published here. On the company website it says 750 yen but in iTunes it costs 800 yen. Why the increase?

Can't believe that their registers have so much money in them. Have that much money and I am surprised that they haven't been hit before. Expect many many more hits in the coming weeks and months.

Motogaijin, did you read it? Flash as in Flash cards. Is this new. Over 1 million applications in iTunes and this makes news? Crap! "My Japanese Coach" has been on iTunes for along time. If you want to learn Japanese, just "My Japanese Coach" DS Version available on the internet for free too. Jailbreak, Install Installous and you can have all iTunes for free.

HAHA... Just showing Japanese at their best. The COVE is the same as the rest of Japan and how the Japanese care little for the rest of the world. too bad times are changing and the rest of the world cares little about what is going on with Japan.

It was snowing here in Noborito tonight. Enough to make snowballs from the snow on my car. Crazy!

What the heck does "so-called El-Nino" mean. Nothing so-called about it. It is a proven well documented weather phenomenon.

So many opportunities to use it in Japan where 90% of the english speakers rent and if they used such a devise they would be paying thousands of yen in repair costs.

The 6 big markets of Starbucks all have wifi. The United States, The United Kingdom, Singapore and Hong Kong I know all have FREE wifi. I've used it. What are the other 2? iPad still won't work unless it catches up with users needs.

iPad, No Java, No camera, No microphone, means only a few die hard apple fans will buy it. When the company starts listening to us again, perhaps I will try their product. But until then, I'm stuck with my iphone that is jailbroken so I can do with it I want. As for Beelzebub, you are so correct. Tokyo and Japan are years behind the rest of the world. Even Starbucks in Japan doesn't have free Internet. (Which is what makes them famous all around the world.)
