One of the most intelligent comments I have ever heard coming from a celeb on this site. Hope it works out for her, in most cases they want you to stay ignorant to what’s happening around you.

The bottom line issue here is that this woman used a mace like substance on people who were not a threat to her. Her annoyance of these people trying to set her straight on a policy of being kind when using your cell phone on public transportation indicates a shift in values that most have witness here. As some have already stated “this is not the Japan I once knew" is more than an accurate statement.

I'll pass on this one. Getting on a train with a bunch of unwashed otaku's while they pick their noses just does not go well with me.

I see no reason for an apology here. I often see folks get on the train and within minutes they are sound asleep and have to be awaken only after three stops at the final destination. The rail system should post warnings "Sleep at on Risk."

I'm sure there were others as well, but this guy was the only one stupid enough to show up at the rehab center after she was rescued. Made it easy for the authorities to capture this idiot and put him away. I suspect a Cambodia prison sentence is a death sentence for any length of time and rightfully due for this guy.

Wow! Never heard about this until her tell all book. Makes you wonder if it was an actual attempt. I jumped out of a tree as a kid, but I was not trying to off myself. I wonder if this story is being stretched a little for book sales.
