Tsurube Shofukutei, I don't like that dude as an actor and his humor is dry. He is pretty conceited; I suppose this award will shoot his head right through the roof.

Now now everyone, we all know if the networks place a REAL sports announcer instead of a popular clown like Nakai, rating would plummet and sponsors would pull out. It's the cold hard facts in this country, talents and other goofballs rule the airwaves. Legitimate sports personalities don't make an impact on the typical Japanese viewers. Most will come out of this knowing even less about the diversity of Olympic sports events.

Cameras are mainly used as a deterrent and identify suspects, however in the event a shooting of stabbing is witnessed on the screen and there is no one there to place an emergency call, then it makes good sense. Perfect example; someone lay dying on the side of the road after a hit and run and is alive when found 3-4 hours later, but dies at the hospital because they were not brought in sooner.

In other words, let's look forward to next year’s disruptions so the tradition never stops. This happens practically every year in Japan, most notably in Okinawa, Osaka and Tokyo. If you want to end it, you must put down a stern foot and hold your ground. Adding that you don’t want to "stain" their future, well I think they are doing a good job of that on their own.
