But you just don't get the point. Whether that guy was buying weapons or not, Mossad did not have permission to execute anyone in another country. And Israel did not have permission to use other peoples passport identities. And then talk about the civilised world ! Israel's enemy ?? I'm just a bloke on an internet chat site !

I am not asking for Palestinian terrorists to be taken seriously. I am merely ridiculing Israel's speech about security for the civilised world, when they are the harbourers of their own insecurity. As long as Israel continues to ethnically cleanse Palestine of it's land, then the Muslim world will continue terrorist activity. By the way, in my world, the murder of over 200 innocent little children by Israeli airstrikes does count as a war crime and nothing less.
Moderator: Back on topic please. The subject is Israel's views on Iran.

Whether this guy was a terrorist or not is way besides the point. Mossad does not have permission to execute anyone they wish in another jurisdiction. And certainly not when they steal passport identities from their very own border control information. And then preach on to the rest of us about the civilised world being threatened.

So, over 200 little children murdered by Israeli airstrikes on their homes does not consitute as a crime in your book ?

Nobody here has used racist language. I think that most people have wised-up to Israel's sympathy-seeking tactics when Israel themselves are guilty of war crimes in modern times. The term anti-semitism has been thought up by those wanting to seek sympathy for Israel. There have been no bigoted comments here. When you see Israel herding the Palestinians into their cramped caged zone whilst reclaiming Palestinian land for themselves, unlawfully, then you don't need to be bigoted to comment that this recent speech is hypocritical. Remember, it wasn't so long ago that a Mossad hit squad murdered a Palestinian target in another country whilst stealing another nations passport identities and then they talk about threats to the civilised world ??

The unlawful taking of land from the Palestinians currently taking place and ethnic repositioning by the Israelis is not very civilised and threatens world peace. The Israelis are hypocrites.

This is quite scary. It's as bad as JAL recruiting pretty young attendants who clearly would be of not much use in an emergency situation. People should read this news and choose a safer airline.

The extra legroom seats, or seats that are next to emergency exits, are supposed to be given to healthier-looking customers who can assist in the time of an emergency by helping other customers get off or help to open the doors if the attendants are not available. If Continental start to sell these seats to elderly people or people with young children then they are risking the safety regulations for money.

Many of Tokyo's metro stations are dangerous and should be failing health & safety regulations. The Ginza line platform at Omotesando has pillars along the platform which force passengers to walk dangerously close to the edge of the platform as they walk around the pillars. When the platform is busy with people waiting you have no choice but to walk close to the edge. At Meiji-Jingumae station on the Chiyoda line platform they have built an elevator for access to the new Fukatoshin line but this reduces the width on the platform to make it extremely dangerous for passengers when they walk through the narrow space. At busy times commuters getting off at Meiji-Jingumae have to wait for people getting on at the narrow point before they can walk any further.

If we are going to continue the recent trend of complaints about news media reporting being too biased in it's coverage of home athletes (the constant nagging about NHK and other Japanese news media), then let's pick this very article here apart. Joannie Rochette of Canada, despite her mother passing away only about a week ago very unexpectedly and at a young age, goes on to win a fantastic Bronze medal. Yet this Japan Today/ Associated Press article only gives Joannie Rochette a sentence and a half in an article that goes on and on about Kim's 'pillow-like' soft landings, the tracings of her spins and her bodyguards back home ?? It's very easy to nag about the Japanese media all the time, but this very article was quite disrespectful to Joannie Rochette.

Some of you just cannot forget your prejudices and the chip on your shoulder can you.
The biggest achievement by far was by Joannie Rochette. Forget about the first two, Rochette deserved the Gold here.

That's funny, the only people who seem to bother the rest of us on longhaul flights (and especially longhaul flights with a lot of Japanese ladies on board) are women who spend ages in the toilets putting on their makeup or whatever whilst everyone else is busting for a pee. They seem to excel in hogging the toilets just before landing when we all need a pee before buckling up. The toilets are never in a mess because the flight attendants always do a decent job of keeping them clean and you only need to inform them if the toilets are dirty.

Don't quite understand the 'short national stereotype' reasoning on some posts here for South Korea and Japan winning the medals at the short track. Western countries have enough short and wide sportsmen and women. American college wrestlers ? Not exactly beanpoles and they dominate world wrestling. British and European rugby prop forwards ? Short and wide usually. I think the real reason why South Korea (bar this year, Japan do not usually win Olympic medals) dominate short and middle distance speed skating is because of superior facilities and funding for that sport in South Korea and the determination and training discipline of the athletes themselves. Please don't stereotype 'Asians' with this sport.
At the previous 4 Winter Olympic 500 metre finals, the Gold, Silver and Bronze (12 medals in all) were shared between 6 Asian skaters (this includes Apolo skating for the US) and 6 Europeans/ Canadians/ Americans.
At the previous 5 Winter Olympic speed skate relays, the Gold, Silver and Bronze (15 medals in all) were handed to 9 Canadian/ American/ Italian nations with 6 of those medals going to Asian countries.

255 professional British servicemen and 3 islanders died helping Thatcher win the General Election to be exact. Along with the hundreds of young Argentinian men who died. Thatcher and the Argentinian generals have blood on their hands. The British and the American secret service craftily left the gate open for the Argentinians to invade and knew all about their invasion plans.
